I had the opportunity to go for umrah this past December/January with my mother and subhanAllah it was an amazing experience especially for me, going at the age of 20 it taught me to be more deen, salaah,quraan, sunnah and Allah conscious. +Sabz Alhajji usually takes 4-5 hours by car. Depends one the mode of transport and the driver. When I went for hajj it took us around 13 hours.

You can't see him per se my bro; his spirit is above the martyrs (who they themselves are green birds), his with the Lord, when you are sending him salam he knows where it's coming from, his in an elevated status. Just remember his a Salam away from you grabbing his attention. Hadith Qudsi; narrated in Muslim and Ibn Majah and Tirmidhi; "....souls are in the insides of green birds having lanterns suspended from the Throne, roaming freely in Paradise where they please, then taking shelter in those lanterns. So their Lord cast a glance at them (1) and said: ‘Do you wish for anything?’ They said: ‘What shall we wish for when we roam freely in Paradise where we please?’ And thus did He do to them three times. When they say that they would not be spared from being asked [again], they said: ‘O Lord, we would like for You to put back our souls into our bodies so that we might fight for Your sake once again. And when He saw that they were not in need of anything they were let be.’”
