I felt so proud doing this as an anniversary stream for the game, and yet here you are doing it in a fraction of the time it took me 😭

Thank you for this. As could be seen in the Captain America Mission 10 with the mid-combo re-jump, how these combos actually go can be hard to visualize just by looking at it. Having a compilation of the Mission combos demonstrated is super helpful. It'd be nice if this game had that option where you can play a demo so you know the timing.

Yeah a demo would be really helpful with some of these 🤣 and even then it would still leave certain things up to the player to figure out. I had loads of trouble with one of Skrull's later trials until I realised that the reason the hardest link in it was so hard is because the move comes out on negative edge/button release, and NOT after a timer like I thought for years lmao.

Absolutely, a lot (nearly all) of what the trials teach you is inefficient ideas and routes. If you Google the Reddit trials you get some better ones!

You could double tap or triple tap, but I'm not at the stage yet with this run where I'll practise the timing for it, so mashing it is!

@@SpartanThrone Copy a saved data file of missions uncleared and keep your original data in a different location while running, copy over when needed to reset

Hey! For Captain America Mission 8 you can probably just backdash before the OTG, especially since you're on x-factor

Also, another time-save would be to use x-factor for missions that don't use it mid-combo. You'll still complete them and likely save time due to the speed boost

If it's the trial I think you mean then yep, but I often accidentally plink when I dash, and if you input e.g. M~H 1 frame apart the game registers an M button press and fails the combo. I bound a dash button for the first time ever for this situation, but I wasn't used to it when I did this run 🤣

Iron Man Mission 4 never made sense to me. You get an OTG into a launch and that's it. Not a fun trial.

Some trials only exist to show the player one specific thing, especially the earlier ones. But yeah very simple.
