This is undoubtedly my favorite UMVC3 combo video EVAR. The Dante vs Vergil section was unexpected but incredibly cool. Using Virgil's sword storm to activate 7 rings of raggadorr? And how many beehives was that in one combo? Goddamn it man, goddamn it.

So what's happening here is basically the M button is hit just before Dante leaves the ground, with the jump allowing him to cancel his previous volcano. Remember that Volcano is jump-cancellable. It's the same for Seismic Hammer->Seismic Hammer for C.Viper, Toy Touch->Rolling Buckler for Felicia, S->Wire Grapple (Up) for Spencer, etc.

Oh you haven't gotten the mechanics of this down yet? Alright I'll try to explain: Jump frames don't happen instantly; in this game, there are pre-jump frames where you are considered grounded, but anything that tries to hit you will put you into an air juggle state (you are also air throwable but not ground throwable in these frames). During pre-jump frames, you can actually execute ground specials.
