Cool video man. Just to let anyone watching know, Shuma's lvl 3 is not mashable in the air. You can see this at the 3:00 mark. The lvl 3 on the ground is completely mashable as you can see with the combo after.

In my opinion shuma is the best character in the game due to the combos alone. And his assists and super combos especially chaos dimension you can combo into and take a lot of life away

⁠@prime_231Not even a Stan moment, just a straight up frame data and effect moment. Vergil has insane invincibility frames and the best cross ups in the game, wall bounce combos from him are a guaranteed character death in most scenarios. Zero is the best zoner in the game and his install super that provides him a delayed clone does so much for his combo and zoning game that some characters physically can’t get out of it until it’s over or if they use a invul super. Shuma is a sick character, but he’s certainly not the best.

In that case, try doing that sequence a little slower or positioning yourself in a way where Shuma gets the most amount of hits with the Mystic Smash... That should give enough time for the explosion to happen during the combo
