Agreed! Watching ChrisG in particular imo is hard to stomach... I understand the mechanics are in the games he plays... But is it possible for the guy to not find the most cheapest characters to play?!? every game he plays his team includes a character that just spams fireballs the whole match... Idk how anyone gets hype over watching him play... I would also like to also see an added ruleset to a tournament of not playing like a cheap ass all the time, and do actual combos.

GGS everyone, was a very very fun event :) PS; if you're commenting on a UMVC3 video and complaining about Zero, Morrigan, Doom, or Vergil, y'all might as well just turn off the VOD cause its an 11 year old game with very very clear cut top tiers so complaining about those characters is like complaining that UMVC3 is on the screen. You can't escape them as a spectator, or a player.

I agree but also this tournament has way less variety than the usual tournaments. This tourney had four zero teams plus two morrigan doom Vergil teams. That is why less than the usual variety most tournaments provide. There isn’t a single Phoniex, magneto, nova or strider despite them being viable.

@@LoftyXsWaGX34 while I agree that not having enough character variety can be boring I still think there's a lot to be said for the huge shifts in momentum that occur in umvc3 due to poor assist calls, xfactor, etc. I understand though that many will still find watching top tiers boring. Personally, watching Morrigan Doom can often be boring but can be exciting when someone can manage to find the small gaps in the zoning to gain momentum. In terms of watching the game for 10 years, I would suggest looking up Gouken Respek, that's me lol 😆. I've been in the fgc since 2008 and have played both mvc3 and umvc3 since their inception. I also used to main She-hulk Storm and Ammy for several years before switching to Trish Doom Ammy so I definitely understand the appeal of the low/mid tiers and they are often fun to watch, as well as play.
