Zero is such a great character. He's mobililty is above a lot of the cast. He can one hit confirm from all ranges. He's combos will kill and they gain a huge amount of meter for the rest of your characters. And of course lightning loops.

In all fairness Zero has insane limb priority so even if his diagonals miss he can clip you randomly and hit confirm into lovely zero loop combos.

Blocking the wrong way doesn't make something a 50/50. A 50/50 is something like a guess, but you don't have to "guess" to see which side the lightning is going to hit you. A 50/50 "guess" is something like Wolvy choosing to do cr.L or j. L instant overhead because you cannot realistically react to which he is going to do therefore it is a 50/50.

People don't get mad at lightning loops because zero has to work hard still and actually get you into a combo but morrigan can chuck fireball from the start

I dont get the people who hate on zero. He's a great point char, but he's lacking some in other areas. His lvl 3 xf makes him hard to control, he loses to stronger zoners in a corresponding battle, he suffers from damage scaling a bit more than others, and his most useful technique requires meter OF WHICH he cant build during his shadow clone. Not to mention the low vital and although he doesnt really need assists, you need to carefully pick ones that actually help instead of hinder. Cont. >

He also has the weakest lvl 3 hyper in the game (it is the strongest projectile however with a lot of speed). And not anybody can just pick up zero and instantly learn the lightning loop and other effective zero combos. He actually takes a lot of time to learn and be effective with him. So just remember zero haters, there are some cheap things about him, but his flaws make up for it, unlike other chars (doom, magneto, vergil, etc.)

Vergil is not a problem, sure hes really powerful and has a really good mixup game but his specials are not unblockable, that would be a bit too much.

If you want to avoid someone doing an Infinite on you, you just gotta play smart and avoid being caught. Besides, if your talking about TAC infinites, you can guess 3 of the sides, so theres a way for you to get out of that. Otherwise, just avoid being caught...

I think Flocker was trying to cut Yipes some slack in the last match by switching Zero for Vergil but I don't know she should have. That just makes your opponent feel worse BECAUSE you've taken pity on them.

I used his team before when I was trying out new characters. My Original team was Iron fist vergil strider, but Iron fist wasn't doing any good for me that time sadly :c, but my Iron fist is a lot stronger now and I use him with frank and Strider. I only use Wesker vergil strider against stuff like dormammu with hidden missiles and Morrigan since Vergil can touch of death anyone after a helm breaker with xfactor.

well it was because at final round bats he played a match against pr balrog and lost due to dark wesker. After the match pr balrog tried to hug him but mihe pushed him away. also he didnt shake the opponents hands after games unless they offered first. also he was known for trolling and doing taunts during games and people just didnt like him because he used a really cheap team and destroyed everybody.

are you serious? vergil, magneto, and doom doesn't have flaws? what game are you playing? vergil is helpless without meter. Magneto has low life, and doom is slow without x-factor and without an assist doom takes forever to open up the other person. Don't think that no character has no flaws. Plus zero's level 3 hyper eats everything meaning you have to block which gives the zero player a lot of free ground to set up lightning loops.

Yea Padtrick has an annoying as HELL team, you have to worry about Vergil mixing you up while that Vajra assist comes at you. I faced a guy like that on xbox with my pheonix wright team, I got bodied. It just depends on the player using Vergil that makes him good or not. I did the same with vergil and teleport infront a lot, and 85% of the time they get hit, its safe not to assume anything.

You must not understand English if you read it that way. Clearly, I said it is possible to figure out what Zero does. I never attemted to say, "he isnt that bad." People have figured out wesker has so many bad match ups against strong zoning and rushdown. Theres just a bunch of characters that give him such a rough time. Like I said, he is the worst mid-high. I didn't say mid-tier. Besides, just cause he has one of the most uses in road to evo top 8, doesnt make him Top tier material.

The problem is that Vergil is predictable and very unpredictable at the same time. He is a guessing game with his teleports with spiral swords or an assist that last long. When I fought Padtrick in fanime 2012 during casuals, he always got me with the trick of teleporting in front of me with spiral swords instead of back. Like 75% of the time he got me with that front teleport, cause I always think that he was going to teleport back.

how is zero cheap? the buster is probably the most durable projectile, his normals outrange almost every character in the cast, he can do 1 touch kills, the lightning is a 50 50 which leads into a 100% combo not only on the ground but in the fucking air too. vergil...nuff said, hawkeye...im surprised its not phoenix or wesker last. thats how it is cheap
