I know everyone is talking about Marvel Zombies but this was the first time we ever saw a member of the Fantastic 4 in an MVC game

Supposedly, because of issues between marvel/fox at the time was why they weren't in the game

​@@t_man7259Surprisingly enough, although Disney Fox Beef was the reason most X-Men were cut (see Cyclops as an example) There was a planned Fantastic 4 Character in Johnny Storm. Unfortunately due to him being on fire constantly he was cut for technical reasons so Capcom went to Marvel and asked for a replacment. They suggested Super Skrull as a way to include all of em in a way. Hell one of Super Skrull's Supers is probably a remnant of when he used to be the Human Torch.

They didn't need to go to the Marvel Zombies universe because in the comics Uatu the Watcher forced the Sentry who started it all into a time loop, causing him to relive the problem he started and contain the 2 infected universes aswell, therefore causing the universes to devour themselves. Frank and Mr Fantastic risked their lifes for nothing.

yep, the only ones that get out of control were earth-2149 and earth-Z (the ones that Uatu trapped into the loop) there were plenty others where the infection was not that big of a thread, like this one, funny enough this was Earth-TRN520 and is officially stated that the infection was erradicated by Mr. Fantastic and Frank West.

Hardly a point of replying to a years old comment. But, judging from how ineffective conventional weaponry seems to be with most marvel heroes/villains, especially given the fact they don’t feel pain anymore (and it seems even the destruction of the head isn’t enough to take them down completely). Someone like Frank makes more sense than a guy who’s entire shtick is boulder punching, and making the undead hordes eat lead.
