Hey guys!
Here's another combo video of Vergil showing some combos with Blistering Swords, Sword Storm (The Crown), The Round Trip glitch and... More swords. It's safe to say this whole video's pointless because doing Sword loops has more reward for less resources (meter).
But style's important too!

Wow made my Vergil look weak he needs more power! If dont mind what's the input for the blistering sword combo? Just the blistering swords part and I felt bad for taskmaster looking like a DMC 3 again sheesh. Godlike always more combos to steal :)

True tasky got a lotnof health for no reason. The blistering swords combo input I wanted was the you did on Ryu. Also just for clarification on doom and magneto when you did swords its was let go of RT crH crown crH lunar phase etc right?

Thanks so much, I got umvc3 last year and i'm trying to play like you. im too slow when doing combos. I cant kill a character with a solo combo except using wolverine. That limits my capabilities. I want to do Zero Dante Vergil. But as you know, these 3 require good hands. XD

First off, great videos. I have a question I was hoping you could answer. At the 2:09 mark you're performing a combo on Felicia while holding a charge. You then wall bounce, teleport and release the charge to continue. I'm having trouble in that the charge either comes out too late or not at all. Is there something I'm missing timing wise and can you give some advice? I would greatly appreciate it.

joey86641 Ahh. Okay, you can start holding the charge during dp.L or during the j.M's after the dp.L. Keep in mind I don't teleport after the wall bounce. I just wait until she's over me and then I release the charge. Hope this helps!

Your advice worked thanks:) just had to go faster. Question on the magneto Cambo, when you activate swords do you dash cancel into RT? I can't seem to find to perfect spacing :/ usually I end up to close so when I do RT crH crown they cross over so the follow crH whiffs or I mess up the Input, any tips on how to get that perfect spacing ? I know I can omit the crH and just lunar phase and hang time and continue from there but this looks so much better

Which button is the "S"? I use a generic control and I do not know which button it is, I wanted to do the Swords from Vergil.

S is the special button. The button that launches the opponent.

I have a question, do you perform these on pad? And if you do(or not), what control configuration would you advise a pad player to use when using characters with HOLD BUTTON attacks like zero and his buster or vergil and his round trip?

I use a pad on the default settings. I can hold square while hitting other buttons thanks to playing DMC4 alot. So I don't have any recommendations on what layout to use... I'd say just use what's comfortable to you.

Thats great!!! My issue really is with Zero, trying to do infinite lightning loop with lvl 3 buster is quite tricky for me. But i'll try on default controls. Thanks for the encouragement

Most People don't understand... To me Vergil is the best character on the game! Why? Although he can't do any infinites(to my knowledge anyway) he has many other good qualities as a playable character on UMVC3. He his able to perform a level 3 super without actually doing a level 3 super!! P.S. 2:53 is Godlike!!

The animations and effects for Vergil in this game are so perfect it's crazy. Unfortunately since DMC4SE forward they've tainted it with DmC and it has felt wrong ever since. Well, DMC4 as a whole felt wrong when compared with DMC3, but that's another story...

I agree. They shouldn't make Crown and Blistering swords cost a meter. Vergil already can't build meter during Spiral Sword, so why make them cost even 1 more meter? Those two are hard to use already, shouldn't consume more meter. D: Meanwhile, Morrigan could gain meter during her Illusion super. So fair. lol
