"Harder-to-do-combos should be more rewarding by doing more damage" I think they made it so that newbies don't get punished by execution barriers. Optimal combos are also fairly easy to do, so that all players are on the same level when it comes to dealing damage. They did put some depth with the combos (maybe not on par with previous titles), but it's generally discouraged to do harder stuff for that reason. I get their reasoning, although I would also like to see top players do some more fancy stuff. Oh well... Great vid as always btw =)

jackbot1992 other than infinites in the old games out side of mvc3 the long combos were rarely optimal for example in mvc2 a lot of the really good stuff wasn't just stupid long combos it was resets which this game has in spades

Hey Crinale5 love your videos man. If you're interested man I found a new swaggy combo extension you can get with j. HK into airplay which cancels the ground bounce from j. HK . I have a few examples on my KZbin but i wanted to pass it onto you so i can see you swag out as much as possible on Dante. Shame the combo system doesn't let us get longer combos but you still make the most out of it. YOU'RE COMBOS ARE SICK!!!!

Seuachi stinger, then heavy, then instant do volcano or something else

After Stinger hits it's HP, to cancel, then just hit HK for Volcano. Way easier than UMVC3.

I absolutely share what you said in description. It's true, you can do a lot with hitstun but then it suddenly decays like crazy and therefore you get similar damage off most combos. Also interested in MH but it's hella pricy for what you get! Let's hope in a christmas sale (?) Also I need a tip for Volcano > crystal, I accidentally always get beehive and sure I TK the move...

Hope it will be on sale. Or maybe I'll wait to buy a character I really want. Like any other DMC character. Besides the obvious tip of practice, I'd say take it slow until you feel the timing of the screen freeze of Volcano's hit so you know when to attempt Crystal. Then just go faster and faster.

Yeah, less on combos and more on combat. Game feels more like any other fighter and not so much MvC because of that though.

CRINALE5 Whenever I think of MVC I think of combos, crazy shenanigans, infinites, assists and happy birthdays. MVC:I is just sorta lackluster, plays smooth and everything but there isn't a lotta crazy stuff going on mostly due to counter/active switches and stones just keeping you outta the way.

ShiroFrenzy well I mean since 2 the games have relied on assists and active switching is basically this games replacement and a more open system that lets you do a lot more combo wise. And I will take infinity gems over garbage X factor any day of the week

During Volcano I press down down then hit up and HP after the Volcano hits. Basically you have to cancel your jump with the second Volcano. Sorry late reply.

Lemme first say that this video's combos is before the patch so some may not work or just do less damage. As for the 411, it is a jump cancel. Before Volcano hits I use qcf and then after Volcano hits, I press up and HP. Make sure it's after it hits. Hope you get what I mean.

solid snake 323 X factor was probably the only thing that broke 3...I'm not mentioning infinities,because ALL of the MvC games have infinites. I do prefer the retros to the new ones though.
