Gilad Erdan, Israel's ambassador to the UN, concludes his speech during a Security Council meeting on the Palestinian question by leading a walk-out of the Israeli delegation. Before marching out, Erdan lights an electric candle in honor of Israelis who've died in terrorist attacks. "I’m sorry but I refuse to spend this sacred day listening to lies and condemnation," referencing Israeli Independence Day. "This debate disgraces the fallen and Israel will not take part in it," he adds.

​@@spacebanana5000 i'm from syria and not long ago israel fired a rocket in a civilian neighborhood in the capital Damascus and killed civillians, among which was a university professor and the rocket landed in a place close to the public universities in Damascus, and before that a rocket was fired supposedly at an iranian base in syria but it ended up killing someone from my hometown, sweida, they always do strikes that kill mostly civillians and then say they were targetting military bases or whatever, in most cases it's a lie. Oh and those rockets fired at syria weren't a response to anything, so it's not like syria attacked them and that was their response, no they just started randomly firing rockets in random places in syria, and as always the western media didn't talk about any of those
