I am ashamed that my Canadian government is turning blind eyes and deaf ears to the gross inefficiencies of the UN agencies to deliver this aid from the designated drop off locations to the actual people in need. Yet my government does not even bother to protest this mess and continues to tax all its citizens for the luxury of being seen as good guys on the world stage. The Canadian government needs to realize we taxpayers demand value for all the charity programs we directly support. Also we tend to vote out virtue seeking governments. Only real tangible results count with conservative leaning citizens.
