Still watch it! 11 years later, I’m 30 now. I haven’t found a better interpretation.

Wow! 2 months ago, I replied to your comment from 10 years ago which said that you had been watching it for the past 3 years then. Came back to this video to see that you had actually commented 9 months ago answering that very question. That's awesome haha.

this is amazing! i'm trying to play this piece. i didnt like the interpretation at first, but as i listened on, i realized this is one of the best recordings of this piece i have heard so far. when i first played the beginning measures, i kind of heard a dreamy harp-like kind of texture, so i played it softly, texture-wise. but i really like your interpretation as well. you are a really talented pianist.

You perform this so effortlessly, yet it is so difficult! The first note at the beginning of the A-major section, "B," you play with the right hand, which facilitates the execution of the arpeggio (I never thought of that.). I am attempting to watch the video and identify your fingering, and incorporate it into mine. Which edition are you using? I'll be watching this video 100s of times. Please continue to upload more of my favorite composer-Franz Liszt. Watching you is a lesson in itself!

What exactly was the idea behind naming it "a sigh"? Is this an ironic joke based on the fact that the piece is actually difficult and sighing implies great ease to the point of boredom? Did Franz Liszt have that sort of humour? He didn't seem like the type of person to make jokes. I always imagined him to be someone who was super serious all the time.

I'm not going to say that's a lie, but I have been playing guitar for years and it really never helped me with piano finger coordination.

@bishopoftroy11 жыл бұрын
Why so knotty ? it seems to me you`re trying to show your virtuosity too much which is not Liszt`s intention for this one. Un sospiro means a sigh not a frown...it`s ment to be played in a more legato way..but this is just my oppinion. congrats anyway :)

@jklfsdfvsdkjhfbdjlnikhfbd97410 жыл бұрын
Ah...!
