If the Siamese algae eater is trying to kill itself, there's definitely a problem. Not happy with the water or something. I had my Siamese algae eater for 2 months and he/she never jumped out of the fish tank. It was an open lid Walstad tank. Had to remove the algae eater cause it kept being mean to the Stiphodon gobys
