Sir ....I'm very thankful to u .....I have cleared jam only bcus of following ur maximum lectures....I was left in the situation where i had big dream to get into iit or nit but I was not able to go for any coaching centres...and then I was confused ....accidentally saw ur lectures in you tube which helped me a lot to clear jam exam ....especially electronics of ur lectures helped me a lot to score more ....thank u so much sir 🙂🙏🙏

I have a question sir. Since a covalent bond is made by sharing of two electrons, so if a covalent bond breaks why is it not producing two electron hole pair?

Logesh Kumar for explanation purpose I said one electron and one hole.. actually so many EHPs will generate at room temperature

That's fine.My doubt is when a single covalent bond is breaking does it produce two EHPs or one EHP? since if a bond breaks both the shared electron have to become free

Logesh Kumar that depends if both electrons get the sufficient energy then two EHPs will generate

In intrinsic SC, 1. Fermi level equal to intrinsic level (At what temperature? ) 2. If i increase the temperature now what happens? (will the fermi level moves up or down? )
