The Govt will not do it because:- 1. Govt is Inefficient 2. Govt has no tech to exploit these kinds of minerals. 3. Govt is not interested in risky ventures. This type of mining is capital intensive and extremely risky with no record to guide.

India must expedite strategic acquisition of critical mineral mines in foreign soil soils especially in African countries ,Australia,Latin america,Centralasia and Afghanistan if possible which may be a realhidden gem and some European counyry like norway.But most importantly India need to drastically increase its Domrstically critical or strategic minral refining and processing capacity.And need to give thrust in domestic cutting edge mining,refining and processingtechnologies beside forign tech collaborations.India must aim to gain 20%capacity share of global critical and precious metal refining and processing capacity on domestic soil.

People with govt jobs are lazy and mostly corrupt. In fact, most compete for govt jobs to be corrupt. Best practice would be to increase STEM-based research where our country is lagging.
