how do you feel the countryside is compared to a big city? Im moving to a small town called hongseong. Same like you about 2 hours by train to Seoul

I actually prefer Gunsan to Seoul living wise, personally since I’m from a small city in the US. The people are friendlier, cost of living isn’t high and the military base is here so there are a lot of foreigners - granted it’s boring at times but since Seoul isn’t far, I take a lot of day trips.

EPIK doesn’t pay for anything it’s the Office Of education that pays the deposit for the housing but in my situation, I had to pay the deposit (1mil won) but I do get rent money …
