im a massive ma listener, but when i discovered ripping corpse and first two dim mak albums, then i understood many great bands just covered a limited craft in ways to make music, either there are bands that want to be ma , or like death or suffocation or cannibal or carcass, but no other band was like revenant or ripping corpse. tuckers vocals destroys everything ma has sounded before, hes their win win guy for that job, but things steeve hurdle from gorguts or scott ruth from dim mak/ripping corpse did, its another universe. there are many talented people playing death metal no matter the instrument, but after all there isnt many of them as creative and unique players, i found that its the 10 % out of the whole bunch ive listened so far. btw i enjoy all of them but always come back to the greater bc i do listen many other types of music, flamenco keeps me busy, so the few great death metal bands i like always have room anytime for me while the others doesnt. ill check out ulcerate. cheers
