Unbearable Truth About Karens - I can't imagine why a white woman would falsely insinuate something creepy about my Goldilocks in order to convince [Black] men not to answer a question that examines white women's pattern of problematic and predatory practices with Black men. Gotta wonder if this lady would have said the same thing if you had said black girl? Or woman? Kind of seems like ladies like this will not have young, non white women's backs when they are in trouble. Especially if they might have "gotten themselves" in a bad situation eating someone else's food and sleeping in someone else's bed. I wonder how often we would hear "she was trespassing" about a black child?

@@nakiarebel8019 Yep. I used Adultify our children too. I remember watching a video.... The little girl was being picked up from school by her dad. She is so upset and dad is trying to convince her to tell him what happened. Eventually she confessed, her white teacher was picking on her and being mean to her. For a hot second, I thought.....What are you doing to make the teacher be mean to you? That was me being conditioned into thinking our children, behave badly but I then remembered being about her age and having a white teacher be mean and pick on me because of the beads/barrettes in my hair. She said I was being disruptive to the class on purpose, by moving my head, to make my beads/barrettes make noise and would punish me. I didn't tell my parents, I just learned how to sit statue still, trying not to move too much. Since then, I've tried to recondition my brain. I try to see our child as they are. They Are NOT young men or young women....which implies Adult. They are little girls and boys, Children!

Goldilocks went into a home that wasn’t hers and ate food that wasn’t hers, sits in chairs in a home she wasn’t invited into, and then takes a nap in a bed that doesn’t belong to her. What I have noticed the last couple of decades is that whyt people are children and expect to be treated as such and protected as such until they do something so horrible it's hard to defend it. I started seeing this when 32-year-old Ryan Lochte was mixed up in the news for a crime, and some reporters kept referring to him as a kid or child, and we shouldn't worry so much. So, I started looking for other examples. And I realized that, as long as they have been aging black people up so they can justify treating them harsher, they have been de-aging themselves so they can treat them softer, and others are easily brainwashed to see them as less of a threat because of it.

I pictured a ten-year-old girl when you said "goldielocks" in your last video, but I don't see why that should make a difference. Your point was that a black man would be terrified to find a strange white girl/woman in his bed, because he knows he could be the next Emmett Till. If we decide that she's young, then that just proves your point more I honestly don't know what point that other person was trying to make. All I can think of is that they misunderstood the prompt, and were implying that the viewer should be happy to find a strange woman in their bed. Which, in fairness to them, there are a lot of gross men on the internet yearning for scenarios exactly like that, but assuming that was the case here is just poor comprehension skills

All you fools sound like you learned about bears exclusively watching cocain bear or some shit. In under an hour you can learn how to deal with bears to be as safe as possible. ... But answer this for me. How many THOUSANDS of hours of true crime have been uploaded in the last few years? No matter how much of it people watch we just learn more and more the depravity of man & how dangerous they can get. Bears are simple easy, & the worst outcome is a swift death. Men are complex, often vile. And the worst things they're willing to do I can't even stomach describing The "PROBLEM" as you put it, is men not listening to why we fear the man more and not acting to change their ways & hold each other accountable so that we fear men less. The problem is y'all are trying to gaslight us into fearing the bear more, because you benefit from our fear of man & would rather continue the status quo then actually address your problems. But with an unknown white woman??? There is no way of knowing how to defend yourself, infact, defending yourself may be th e very thing that gets you killed or jailed or worse. Id choose the bear, atleast then i could realistically escape and survive to tell a harrowing tale. With a random whyte woman, youre just gonna lose everything, no second chances and no reprocussions for her, either.... but you already knew all of that, you just want to waste time and pretend you're dumber than you are so people are forced to lower the bar to make the conversation less nuanced to cater to you and your semantics.

I mean, I think we can all agree that "unknown man" is not the extent of this. Men you know are just as dangerous. The majority of sexual violence is perpetrated by someone the victim knew, usually a friend, romantic partner, or family member. Additionally, the machismo that men use to "protect" their families is, in practice, a tool of control over the family. And that presence is something that women and children wind up building their entire lives around avoiding the ire of. I'm a man. I was raised in violence, victimised by it, and in turn used it to survive. I know what it's like to be afraid, and to make others afraid. It's the worst part of myself, and there isn't a day that goes by without me wishing I could erase it and every memory I have of it. Every man is capable, every man knows another man who has created pain. Every man needs to cut the shit.

I did not even know anything about the original Goldilocks versions. However, when I saw your video yesterday, I immediately understood what context you were using for that Goldilocks story and never once did a Goldilocks "child" pop into my head when I listen to the question. I can't say if it was because you use the term woman, but in watching your whole video I had no reason to imagine a child. This woman was apparently trying to attempt some sort of white savior mentality, using her own perverted thoughts to protect the men you were talking to. She took it upon herself to change the context of what you were so obviously pointing out in that original video, to make it seem as though you're the sick one. I'm sorry so many of my race are this way, rather then trying to listen and understand.

Genuinely though… what do they think they’re saying?? Like either they think you got the story wrong and are correcting you (not at all the point of the video), or they think you KNOW the story, and are deliberately saying that a girl is a woman, and somehow that’s a sexual thing? And reflects badly on you? For asking other people that? Idk maybe I’m being a dumbass, but I am seeing barely a thread of correlation

I had another thought. There are vids- on KZbin- of people encountering a bear. And based on those vids, i would avoid eye contact, try not to make any sudden movements, and give it all my food If any. When i randomly encounter hwyte women, I avoid eye contact, and try not to make any sudden movements, but I also try to "make myself smaller"- 'cause just existing as a tall black man IS threatening, to "some people". So, in a way, there are parallels. But honestly, bear behavior is way more predictable, and thus easier to avoid danger.

Not only is Goldilocks an old lady in the earlier versions, she also dies. In one version, she freaks out at the bears and jumps out the window, and in another she's impaled on a church steeple, which seems...intense. I'm going off topic here, but yeah.

I mean kid spans a wide age range though. I always assumed someone like Red Riding Hood was at least early teens to be out alone in the woods, running errands, where as Hansel and Gretel feel younger and Snow and Cinderella feel old enough for romance, but still young enough that I'm sure we'd call them a kid these days.

I felt this too. She reminded me of my narcissistic mother. Then, I thought, what if my entire generational history and current life was filled with an entire race with this narcissistic thinking that has been and still is oppressing me? I couldn’t begin to imagine because i didn’t experience it. I just know how much damage one narcissistic parent can do and that’s bad enough. Black people in this country have an entire establishment doing this. That makes my depression turn to anger that motivates me to do more, but I also know that even that anger is a privilege for me. This is a very good example of exactly why white people need to hold other white people accountable at all times.

I think the version most people would be most familiar is one with a child breaking into the bear's home, even if other versions exist - but what difference does it make?! If in the previous video the question had been "who would you be more scared of - a white child or a bear in your bed?" wouldn't that make the point only *stronger* ? A child isn't an immediate threat to a grown man at all, even less so than a woman is - and yet... Because we're primarily scared of whoever society will likely side with, not just who individually is a threat in the moment. If men knew that they can't get away with (sexual) violence against women, we'd be more scared of the bear. If white women - and *even more so* white children - weren't automatically seen as victims of an imagined violent Black man, Black men would be more scared of the bear. But the world is not what we want it to be and that's why many people for many different reasons may think "A bear? Doesn't sound so bad"
