How much does a machine like that cost? Most people consider a 700 dollar snow blower a major purchase that has to be near 20.000 for something like that perhaps more

Got enough milk, bread, cereal, heat, generator, etc., don’t feel the need for my wife or me to get out. So we just sit tight until the melting starts, then we get the “Well, it’s a JEEP ain’t it”, or the little tractor to get the mail or see what the world is doing. No reason to get up and out in the fluff unless very necessary!

That was an awesome video! I love the deep snowfall. I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and we get around 280 inches of snow every winter. Many storms dump over inches of snow, and I love getting out there and plowing with my truck and tractor. Seriously thanks for posting that epic snowblowing video!

I have a 2002 JD x595 with a plow & 47" blower. The tractor has successfully handled every snow storm that has come my way! I'm considering wheel weights this year; never needed/used chains. A lil' extra weight in the rear wouldn't hurt ,,,,,,,😎.

You got that right! I started off with a plow truck and used it for a couple years. I ended up running out of room to push the snow and still had a ton of shoveling to do in the tight areas that I couldn't get the truck in. This little tractor has worked out so well and paid for itself multiple times now. Thanks for watching!

2 feet of snow at once for a snow blower is doing pretty good regardless of color. I have a 42" that goes on my lawn tractor, I bought it the year after our apocalyptic snowy winter with 2 feet of snow in the driveway for a month and a half. Last 2 years since we've maybe had about a foot of snow combined, I got to try the blower out on an 8" snow storm, its a 3 stage blower to anything less than 8 inches and it don't work as well but it does work for what its designed to do, does a great job and makes it take so much less time than using a shovel. The biggest issues is the snow plow goes by and throws the snow into my driveway so it gets packed really bad the 3 stage blower tackles that without any problems.

Great vid. Can tell by the sound running auger your two bearings that drive the big sprocket need some tlc. Or the two Allen key set screws backed off and your sprocket is wearing a groove in the bolt that cover latches onto. Happened here. Ended up wearing the chain down too while big sprocket was floating back and forth in shaft. Didn’t come apart but close. All around great machines those kubotas!!

Great Video, seems like you have a good setup for snow removal. Is that a factory cab on your tractor? How loud is it inside? I have a B7800 and am thinking of putting a cab on it for my old age. Kudos for doing the neighbors driveway. I also have a plow truck and there are a few neighbors that I don't hear from until we get a major snow storm. I have one that always shows his appreciation with fresh baked cookies. That's better than cash.
@Trialnerror
@Trialnerror 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Chris! I built the cab from scratch and it is loud inside but still quieter than the tractor was without a cab. Most of the time I wear hearing protection because I already have tinnitus. The cab was without question the best thing I ever did to this machine. In the summer it keeps me cooler and the winter, completely warm.

Very well! But the wet asphalt means that you still have non frozen ground and snow melting is still possible, not so fast as you moved snow but possible. It is harder to clean snow when you got ice on the ground and every new snow storm multiplies snow drifts.

I have been seriously looking at a GR2120 and the salesmen have been pushing me into a BX1880, giving me their usual reasons; more attachments etc etc. All I need is a riding snow blower with enough traction to make it up a steep 20 degree incline in NH's heavy, wet, snow. I want a diesel engine with enough guts to do the job. I haven't seen any videos of any 1880 going uphill to that length ( 100 ft) and degree (20) yet. Do you think your machine could do the job? Have you had any or many parts break on this machine? I do like your rig and the way it eats that snow. I would appreciate a reply if you could make the time. Thank you for a very, very good video.

I believe as budget allows we are looking to expand but we just paid off over $300000 building loan in like 3 years so we got to use what parking we have available for now Oh and by the my tractor is a 57 JD 520 which does about 25 to 30 hp but wieghs in around 7000 lbs with loader on
