This is why i love Brad’s vlogs. Genuine window into the reality of poker. Some days you get wrecked and run into monsters. Genuine non glamorized view of his sessions. Thanks again for sharing. You clearly deserve that GPI award

totally agree. Every other vlog is like "in for 1,000 out for 15,000!" all month long. I think a lot of vloggers unknowlingly decept people into thinking you can get rich playing poker and maybe you can long term but the reality of it is most of us are losing players. I hate days like this! Set up to lose with zero run good. When you get multiple days like this in a row, or even for a full month straight (happens sometimes), it can make you feel like you just want to quit poker. For some reason though, I take a little break from the game, come back and smash everyone.

Mr. Brad, i have a request, if i can: Is it possible, under the mini clock on the top left, to have also the situation of your stack? I mean, +300, -100 for example. I'm not asking this because i wanna know early how you are going, but simply i like to see your thinking in every situation, if your decisions have a change if you are up or not. I'm only asking, if is not possible hey, absolutely no problem. In bocca al lupo! Mattia

I love how you’re implementing the visuals of the cards on table. May I suggest doing something similar with a visual representation of the BB,SB etc. It would also include where you’re sitting at the table. In my head there would be a display of the poker table as if being looked at from above, the people sitting at the table would be marked according to what they are such as Big blind, Small blind and so on. I think this would bring the vlogs to the next level and really help envision who is where and what each person bets.

Maybe rewatch that Phil Helmuth episode, in particular what he congratulated you for. It's painful to watch a session like this from the outside because it's all so clear when it's not you. The last two hands especially. But it happens sometime. You're still sun running overall. Chin up and look forward to your next video.

Not so lucky for sure. I really don't know what you were supposed to do on the A-10 hand, considering play. Glad you didn't rebuy considering mindset. Congrats on the award!

It's tragic that you just kept running up against monsters over and over again. I've been on a losing streak for my past 3 sessions and it brings me some comfort that even someone much better than me has bad days. Thanks for sharing even though you had a bad run.

There are occasions where you have to take a step back just to take a step forward. This is clearly a step back. Guess you could say brad was in a giving mood this session

Congratulations on the award. When you said sometimes things just don't go your way, I thought sometimes we just get in the way. Just makes us know even the best have their moments. You'll be back up tomorrow

Before I begin watching this video, I have to preempt it by asking how you thumbnailed it by posting “Unbelievable Call”? You’re typically a calling station, so sooner or later you’re gonna be right. Don’t get me wrong Brad, I love your videos, and your commentary is fun and entertaining, but to make that statement (Unbelievable Call) just seems like one of those obvious actions in your normal play. Now, on with the video…I can edit later. Edit #1…3/4 of the way through, and it’s nice to see you make some good lay downs, but the A-3 suited River call? Pretty weak. Edit #2…YIKES!!! Well, you certainly didn’t minimize your losses.

Had a similar session today where they just kept having it, only I got lucky when tilting. Made a terrible call pre, cold calling a 3bet with QTs, 3way to the flop, I have a flush draw, pfr cbets, I jam for well over 200bb like a complete fish, both players have me covered and somehow call, which is much better than just one call, turn bricks, the other two players check, river gives me the 2nd nut flush, which is good for a huge triple up. 3better had QQ and has his soul crushed, other player mucked without showing. Shortly after I crush his soul again with K9 vs 89 for trips in another pot I really shouldn't have been in (nor should he), for another 100bb to get myself unstuck.Sometimes tilting can be a good thing! I still try not to do it though, but it's really hard when you're playing solid for 3+ hours and bleeding chips. There comes a point where you just think "fuck it", much like your ATo hand.

when playing in table.. you get vibes and the instincts try to takeover the rational mind.. so sometimes it gets you to make some bad plays.. here: ● not laying down the weak A when up against 2pair is classic Hellmuth. (had him on 2 pair Q6/Q2 or low set). ● the last call w/ A10 off suit against UTG, shoving from UTG is a huge red flag.. should have known your 10 is no good and youll be 3 to 1 underdog against the range of AK/AQ/AJ.. 4 to 1 dog against high pocket pairs.. it wasnt worth it.
