My first Sierra was a 2.8 v6 4x4 C108OFT, and as ive said before on your channel , i still have a sierra Saphire Cosworth .i was always fond of Sierras.

I'm amazed that maxi is still standing and the 1750 cc be good engine for a mini was nice of the bloke show the two serrias and they look in great condition sat in that dry workshop and second owner for new

I actually like those 70s BL cars like the Maxi. They were comfortable and people are finally starting to appreciate them. But the Sierras are now super rare in original condition like that.

Great video. The sierras come up as Green, & 1.6 petrol, the last one you looked at needs SORN. One of the V5’s last issued January 1988, the other is Feb 2012. Awesome looking cars, always loved them, had a few lol. Daniel.

I once had a Sierra estate the previous owner had dogs everytime you pulled the seatbelt or moved something all you could smell is dog piss. Had it cleaned could not get rid of the stench of dogs. Glad to get rid of it. Pxs it for a capri 2.8 injection.

1985... I squeezed a Maxi 1750 engine into a 1979 mini 1,000.. Took a lot of cutting away the bulkhead. To fit the engine and the gearbox...😜 What a beast it was... 😋

We used to have a Sierra estate in sky blue and it got stolen for a bank robbery I found the key barrel 10 years later great video dude loved it

That garage is just a couple of miles from me, my first job was at the other garage down the road infact. Been driving past for 30+ years wondering what's inside... 2 consecutive numbers Sierras, 579 & 580, very very cool! There used to be a proper old style petrol pump out the front too, i'm guessing that was probably lifted years ago tho 😕

C579 Sierra is SORN C580 tax was due in1997. Strange how both are recorded as being Green when in fact they are both Mistral Blue . Worth a few bob now .I would want a good price for both of them.
