Our real adventure starts! We leave Laverton and take the Great Central Road to Uluru. The journey is 1100kms mainly gravel and corrugations, is The Robbo up to the task?
We see lots of wild camels, dingo's and Brumby's. The scenery is just beautiful!
We make it to the Giles Weather Centre to see the morning balloon release and explore the museum.
Thank you for your support, catch ya out there!

What a great trip guys. Great report too. We are planning similar trip and i am stressed about fuel. We have a similar set up although are towing a 15ft Hybrib. Have you calculated fuel usage when off the tar ???
@RoaminintheRobbo
@RoaminintheRobbo Жыл бұрын
Hey there, Hall family. I haven't done the gravel calculation, but our average all up to this point is 20L/100. If i had to geuss, I'd say the gravel was about 22. From memory, the longest stretch between fuel points was about 400kms. If in doubt, jerry Cans are a good fall back plan. Happy planning, you'll love it.

I'm sad that you didn't comment on the grader, which was the one that the Gunbarrel Contruction company used to open up the roads.
