He divorces her what the hell else could he do in the real world you don't have the ability to do much more then leave its not like he could have taken all of her $ and assets he doesn't have the ability to get her fired she hadn't broken any laws so he couldn't get her locked up he had a choice stay or go he went showing hes a stand up guy with morals you've obviously listened to way to many of these fairy tales where the man ends up with most of the assets and ruines the wife's life and she ends up homeless regretting her infidelity that's simply not real life women always do better in court then men she won't have any problems replacing him but he will definitely have to put in some work for every piece of ass that he gets for now on unless he uses some reasoning and simply buys his ass for now on that's what the wise middle age men do why risk losing everything AGAIN no we learn that we don't have to buy women a house for their company if we are simply honest with ourselves we can buy them homes Cars and everything else their pretty little heart desires or we can simply hand them the cash and let them pick out what they really want trust me it's a lot cheaper to go the cash route

First a good PI to try and unravel the truth, next a Polly graph test, then if no more lies come out a visit to the attorney and a postnatal contract that if she ever does anything wrong again she is out. When you just take her back with no consequences for her actions she will look at you as weak and stupid. No matter how many times she tells you she loves you her actions have already shown you the truth, you don’t bring your AP home to your marital bed if you respect or love your husband. I hope you understand that when she cheats next time it’s on you because you are a very weak person.

The daughter was the star of the story. The cuckolded husband had a good dry humor but was not credible. Cedric was par for the course, not an uncommon type of guy albeit apparently with the equivalent of a glass jaw. The lack of queries from the police is not something that would happen in the real world.

I don't know if I'm the only one, but it seems that this channel (Audio Story) features a lot of these short stories that don't really seem to have a very satisfying ending. It's almost like most of these stories are only about half finished. Anyway, regarding this particular story, I did like it, mostly because of the writing. There was a lot of levity, which I always appreciate, especially in a story that deals with this subject. I especially liked the little quips in the dialogue between the MC, wife, and daughter. The ending seemed rather ambiguous, I mean, I guess he gives his wife another chance? I don't know? While it fits the style, it would be nice to continue to look into the lives of these people. I also get that we may not want to get too far into the weeds, but something a little more concrete would be much appreciated. Again, I do very much enjoy this author's writing style. It's always nice to find yourself chuckling in some of these more emotionally charged narratives. Please keep up the great work. OH! Also, whatever AI text-to-speech app you use, it's great! I mean, even when the inflection doesn't line up, it adds to the...charm? Maybe not the right term, but hopefully you get what I'm saying.
