I can't imagine how stores just throw out good stuff like that when so many people can still benefit from it!! Working for a company that always donate all the stuff that we aren't going to use anymore to charities or recycle the broken stuff feel quite good after watching all of these dumpster dives. I'm so extremely grateful for people like you guys who help the people who need it the most!!

The bench is an easy fix, replace the leg, I often used a fallen branch from a tree or found a leg from another piece to use, I redid furniture for quite some years. Lovely bench! There is no shame is keeping things for yourself, I would invest in a dehydrator for the produce so they can be kept in bags, or canning. I have not tried many brands of oat milk I have seen but I do make my own it just takes a blender, sieve, water and uncooked oatmeal. and a little bit of vanilla if you like. After blending the oats in water just strain the oats out keeping the water, there is your oat milk, I add a tablespoon of vanilla to sweeten it a bit. I love oat milk. Amazing they charge so much for it in stores. The white packets of seasoning should also be good, I love Chorizo and eggs, delicious!

I just discovered the sprouts bins in my area. I got some food for my brothers chickens and several items for myself. Even some that I have replanted the root vegetables.

Oh yes absolutely even if you don't eat it there are animals that can still enjoy it. We have just started to replant more of our Romaine lettuce and they are growing back great.

If you ever make home made cheese the milk would be fine. Most people feels it and if it's warm they don't take it The milk has to clabber or get really warm then you put it in a stock pot cook it down strain it and you have a good bowl of cheese. Love your videos.❤

Our grocery stores donate their food to our local food banks so there is no need to dumpster dive as there is nothing being wasted. I'm from moncton, New brunswick canada

I use oatmilk all the time, but many of them are found in fridge, and if they have been in room temp for more than 2 hours, they should be tossed. Some oatmilks are totally fine though for long periods of time in room temperature. I would not risk it, unless for own use, or familiar brand that can take it ^^

I wish my area had the kind of items that y'all find but it doesn't. We have 1 Aldi store & they destroy everything. We have 1 Petsmart and they do the same. It's sad. I love watching what all y'all find!! So awesome y'all do what you do :)

My florist sent me a message today to always put a couple of tablespoons of sprite in your cut flower water. She does this with flowers and regularly has them last two weeks or more. That's with the flowers she doesn't sell in their prime and she takes them home.

Fantastic finds today. I loved that bench, and it's an easy fix, but you should check that dumpster the next day, as they may have pulled a fast one. Put one piece out one day then the rest the next day. The company it was made by should be on it. You should be able to order a new leg for it, but if it's like the one I have, it's a solid piece for the front and back legs on each side. Have a great day my friend ❤️🙂⚘️.

You would think with all the food and securities that the grocery stores would donate the food especially if it's not out of date. We live in a very Mennonite or Amish area all the food is donated on the shelves after a certain time. And we have discount stores that take in overstock food dirt cheap.

Children can be so funny sometimes. I’ve had the oat milk, it's okay but you can taste the oats and that was a bit odd. Great save with the items. Also, you can take a table about the same height as the bench and take the table top off and put the bench top on it. Just a thought. Take care.

Hi guys just new to dumpster diving. Now it’s totally legal to dumpster dive in my state. But I had some thing strange happen to me. I stopped at a location picked up a box for mailing an item to my daughter. Next thing I had a car following me that started taking pictures of my car ?? Wondering what was that about. Any body no???

Were they marked as security? We were caught once and security took a picture of our car and of me. They might have taken this to show that they took care of the "Diver" I believe it's to keep an eye on you and then also if something happens they have a record of it. You were just there getting a box so it's not a big deal but imagine if someone had left a baby (Sad to say that has happened) They now have a picture of your car/license plate so they could report that. Don't worry too much if it's legal where you are at. That place might have too much security I would find somewhere where there is no security if it's only for boxes but if you get caught again just let them know you are getting a box. They are fine with scrappers and cardboard collectors. Just make sure you never make a mess and if possible just pick up a piece of trash especially if they have cameras there. I think there is an inside job going on. Because a month ago I scored about 600.00 on stuff in the trash and whoever this person is I think he’s part of the getting what gets put in the trash. Please take oat milk next time. It lasts a long time. Be sure your viewers know that “best by date“comes from producers and follows legal guidelines to protect grocery stores. I DOES NOT MEAN THE PRODUCT US BAD AFTER THE DATE. People can always tell if something has gone bad!!!! Eggs especially.

No, it's not just about what we use but in the moment of dumpster diving and trying not to get caught sometimes he is not sure about an item because he is not familiar with the product so he doesn't take it and might take something else that he is more familiar with. We make sure before we donate it that it is good to leave in the blessing box. If it is something more perishable we will leave it for an hour or two once we are done with our route we will pick up any leftovers and usually replace them with something else.
