Most Filipino's have Spanish blood in their DNA (even for a minuscule only) having been a Spanish colony for 333 years. For all we know most of the best singers of the ages were from Spain and its territories until modern songs came. In my own understanding, By definition, 'professional' would indicate that you make money by doing something. A professional singer is one that is being paid for singing... Ricel is also being paid to ocassions she was invited to perform (raket). To be called as Profesional singer doesnt also needs a recording and album, for example, a professional musian, composer, dancer, etc. For as long as you are being paid to such service you are providing...and does it for a living.
