I doubt you need to sand the wheels. Just get acid wheel cleaner from good stuff and will lift it

Have you checked the rear under footwell storage boxes. Kuga’s are terrible for water leaks.

Try some wheel acid. Dilute it down if need be

Yes do this! Don't touch with sand paper. An acidic wheel cleaner will do a lot. Just follow the instructions. New centre caps would make it look good too

Yeah I have, I'm trying to figure where it's coming in. Must be a bad seal or something.
