Unbelievable HUGE Homes in Atlanta Georgia - The Estates At Hurricane Pointe Douglasville GA

If you’re moving to Atlanta, Georgia stick around because today we are taking a tour of The Estates at Hurricane Pointe southwest of Atlanta in Douglasville, Georgia and then I’m taking you inside their unbelievable model home. My name is Ben Dings and I am your licensed, local real estate guide. The community is about 30 minutes west of the airport and about 40 minutes southwest of downtown Atlanta and places like the Georgia Aquarium and Mercedes Benz Stadium. You’re about 15 MInutes from grocery shopping and about 20 minutes from Arbor Place mall. So you’re close to amenities but still far enough away that you still have you’re own quiet piece of paradise. The Estates at Hurricane Pointe is in the South Douglas Elementary, Fairplay Middle, and Alexander High School District. And great news Niche.com ranks Alexander High School the best high school in Douglas County! Homes in the community start out around 3,500 sq ft and go up to 4000 finished sq ft. I say finished because all the new construction homes in the community they are building are on basements! I’ve had some comments on wanting to see more basement lots so here is a community full of them. Plans are 4-5 bedrooms and 3.5 -4.5 baths with all the plans having 3 car garages. And all the lots are on 1 acre as well so you’ve got plenty of yard and space between you and your neighbor. All the new construction homes they are building are on 1 acre and they are on a basement! There is an HOA fee, but it it only $300 a year as it is just for common area maintenance. ​@@livingincoweta Who can afford prices above 400k in Georgia? There will be a lot of foreclosed homes in GA soon if prices dont drop by 200k - 300k

Thank you for the comment as always and thank you for following my videos! I don't have a crystal ball. But I'd hope not. That would be terrible for a lot of folks. The housing crash that happened in the early 2000s where so many people lost their home was due to poor lending practices. The US govt passed several bills where lenders have to be very thorough in who they lend money to so they ensure bills can be paid. Right now we are in a needs based market, people in most cases are only moving because they have to not because they want to. We are experiencing a great migration of people from places like California and the Northeast where home prices are even higher and they see $680k as a deal. @@livingincoweta I live in the northeast ( new england). 3 bedroom homes in my town are priced between 450k and 530k at the moment. You guys are wilding out in Georgia.
