Love the lid for the nexus 👍 once the media matures a bit you will probably be able to get a bit extra media in, I got 23l of micro in my eazypod boils fine. Intrested to know if you think if Itmakes much difference

You should find that K1 micro cut's the fines from the nexus down its a good upgrade and a win win on the camera picture looks real good and no more wind noise 😉😉

Pond and fish looking awesome as usual 👌 lots of work to do on my pond at the end of the month...new filter house new 220+ new uv/pump/air pump and all associated pipework...a total overhaul I even managed to blag 50ltr of the new K+ media for half price after complaining that my brand new filter didn't come with the latest media 🤣 keep the videos coming... might have to pay you a visit one day as I'm local to you I'm in Morley

Great video Dave and love your logo. Another question I have a 220 and love it. Noticed you put some blue filter media in the exit chamber does this help remove some fines and how often do you clean it mate?

That lid is a cracker. Do they do an easy pod one ? Will be interested to know if micro k1 really does make a difference. My Net has arrived from feed my fish. I`m really pleased with it, thanks for putting me in touch with them :-)

No Problem you're welcome. I swapped the media in my pod last year it really does make a difference. Don't think they do a lid for the pod though.

Nice vid Dave and the logo looks great. I am looking to upgrade the easy on my Nexus 210 which comes with the K1 micro so thanks for the tip using PP to clean off the wax beforehand. Not sure if Andy has a mice for his camera but he definately has frogs, lol! 😅

hi matey, do you know roughly the volume of water you use when you flush the nexus...i have no drain down pond end but could possible build a sump underneath the filter and then pump it away...but i dont know how many gallons i would have to cater for....thanks mate

The centre chamber on the 220 210 200 holds 105L of water. Most people flush them twice during a clean. Hope that helps. Nexus 200, I have had 7 litre of Micro in with the standard for years and wasn't losing any so I just took the plunge and filled it. I would always try something for myself....... This could be a disaster yet though lol will keep you posted.

@@dkoi-tv if it does work that would be excellent mate, I've got two 300's and was looking at upgrading the eazys to the 320 ones but EA say they wouldn't fit for some reason and that the micro wouldn't work in my current eazy because of the hole size but that doesn't seem to be the case from what you've shown. Will be interesting to see on the first flush out if you lose any or if any escapes down the centre pipe, if not I know what my next upgrade is, cheers mate.

The best upgrade for a nexus is to get rid of of the nexus and get a proper filter Unless you enjoy cleaning a filter every 2 days
