the lyrics are a mixture of 2 Nguni languages which is isiXhosa and isiZulu. Bawo (Father) in isiXhosa and Ngiyabonga (I'm grateful or I'm thankful) isiZulu. So it goes: Bawo ngiyabonga ngoba usangigcinile (Father I'm grateful for you have preserved my life to the present) I hope it makes sense. The lead singer is actually a famous artist popularly known as Samthing Soweto (Acapella musician)
