I've owned both and I upgraded to the S21FE whilst giving my wife my old A52s. What became obvious is I preferred her photos. S21FE borders on garish at times whereas A52s is much more natural. The zoom is better on FE and low light is too. But I ended up selling my FE and getting another A52s as the battery on that phone is also much better.

I NEVER HAD THE A52S I DID HAVE THE A52 5G I THINK THEY'RE DIFFERENT AND SOME SORT OF WAY OR THE CHIPSET. But I got to give it to that s21fe the camera quality is just amazing it's too bad that the A's series phone are so bad when it comes to the camera quality 😔 It sucks. By the way can you compare the the A33 🆚 the A53 But I definitely got to say that the A52S does take better pictures at night than the S21FE

Indeed Qualcomm ISP in Camera A52s did really well over S21 FE Hit or miss kinda situation here - opt for wireless charging, Android 12 UI, Single-handed S21 FE overall - everyday usage, daily task user can try A52S for saving few more bucks. Cheers Nice comparison mate.

I think what Samsung should do, Is remove the FE series and just amplify the top model of the A series. The difference between the A52s 5G and the S21 FE is so minimal in terms of Photography which what most people use the Camera for. I'm glad I bought the A52s 5G.

My dad got me the a52s and I am so glad he did! i told him its not worth getting the flagships since i hate spending money and i dont think id even be close to maximixing the potential od those flagships. But he insisted i get a better phone (Ive always had older phones cause i dont mind them) and the a52s was that compromise. Amazing photos, aux jack, 5g, dolby and all those other good sauces.

@@DariuszTech Absolutely.. you know this A52s reminds me how Galaxy S-models were back in the days.. Affordable but soo good. I had my friend play with it, hes an iphone guy but anyways.. after he tested everything I asked him, how much do you think that costs? He guessed maybe something like 800 EUR++, its probably an S21 something phone.. I just shook his hand, told him the price (I paid 360 EUR for mine), and we were just both in shock😂😜

Whoa. Tested a little A52s by myself, were gladly impressed. S20FE5G seems best all around option, but A52s is best in midrage category. To be true, samsung with A52s release quite "too good smartphone" for the price, and i guess that in 22' cause of gadget price increase they will downgrade A53 or what it will be called series to lower specs/ keep same price. Nice reviews/comparisions though, great effort/lot of work!

I don't understand why Samsung would release the s21 fe and then they are about to come out with the s22 line up but as far as the cameras the A52 kept up well against the s21 fe. Some white balance issues here and there but nothing to complain about because the price is amazing on the A52 I would definitely purchase it over the s21 fe

I've just bought the A52S yesterday, and absolutely love it. I uograded from a POCO X3 NFC which I also loved - STILL IMHO THE best budget phone EVER. Very interesting that the A52S's replacement, the A53, is now only about £10 more (on Amazon) so soon after its release, probably due to it being in many ways (other than a slightly better camera) a downgrade to the A52S, which that small price difference might seem to prove.

I use gcam on my samsung a52s. I would say, i like the output of photos in gcam rather than the stock camera app. It makes the colors more vibrant. Stabilization in samsung a52s is not that good. I use the stabilization in edit mode of google photos and it really made my videos better! You should try it hehe

I guess, overall, the A52s offer a better value for money. I go it for around370$, happy with my decision... A few issues with the A52s camera, UW camera struggles quite a bit in low light, OIS doesn't work because the images in dark have too much NOISE with high ISO. One more tip, you have to hold your A52s extra steady while clicking in the dark using night mode. The selfie camera has some sort of beautification mode enabled by default...

The A52s did extremely well in low light, it kept the highlights in control a lot better than the FE. The S21 fe has a much better selfie camera, and of course digital zoom can't compete with the telephoto camera. Then again, the ultrawide on the A52s is pretty comparable to the s21 fe. Overall, the S21 fe is the better camera but not by much, the A52s is extremely solid and arguably the best midrange phone of last year. Solid video as well, if I might give a suggestion, I'd recommend allocating a little bit more time to photos as most people use their phones for still photography. Cheers.

First price for S21 FE was too high. But now it can be found online for under 500e, which is a very good price for a flagship smartphone. SD888 (without overheating problem), slightly better display, better cameras, better GPU, stereo, wireless and reverse charging are reason enough for some to pay 200e more.

It's definitely a big improvement, but even a four-year-old phone is better in two things: the old fingerprint scanner and the IR face scanner camera, which were flawless on the Poco F1. I can't regret that, nor the 3.5mm headphone jack 🙂 I used the samsung A52s for a couple of days, also a great smartphone.

i use a52s 5g, and i'm pretty satisfied with the rear camera, and for the post capture i use adobe lightroom the result is almost feels like an S version camera, for the video capture i use filmic pro so i can use 4k 60fps with a decent cinematic filter, i prefer this way than a much higher cost S fe version

It is not even close to any s version camera... It's not even close to the old s20 fe! Everything are superior on s21 fe next to a52s. Cameras are really much better on everythin, sound is better, screen is better with 120hz, s21 fe is ip68. And it cost only 150€ more than A52s!!!

I side with the s21fe. The dynamic range cannot be under estimated. Also, this phone currently sits at around €540 in my country because there is a €75 cashback going on plus the 4+ years of OS updates. And don't forget the smaller form factor of the s21fe. All in all I would say the s21fe is much better across the board.

Thanks for this comparison. I own the A52(s) and am looking for an upgrade now. I am considering the S22 PLUS. I am expecting the camera of the S22 to be even better than the one from the S21 FE, so your video has convinced me that I am doing the right thing by upgrading to the higher end of the S series. One thing that did disappoint me a little bit though, is the saturation of the S21 FE camera. It would seem to oversaturate under all conditions. The first shot shows that clearly, with a blown out sky and a (genarally) red "glare" oversaturation on your coat. I'd rather process colour in my editing / post-production. Well, I guess you can't have everything! Nice wellies by the way! 😄

I managed to get a crazy good deal in my country on an S21. Basically the company was taking in "old" phones and giving up to 150-200 euro for them ontop of their 200 euro campaign if you bought any phone like s21fe up to s22 models. As far as I can remember it has optical image stabilisation on 1080p 30fps when you choose steady mode and electronic for 4k

It's definitely worth it but depending how much the phone is going to cost. If similar money to s21 Fe than I would go with s21 Fe because of software updates. Older flagships offers amazing value for money if you can get it cheap. I was testing S20 plus few weeks ago and the phone impressed me a lot in terms of camera performance 😀

Is it changed by software or what, beacuse on this video it's only sligthly worse than S21FE.
