Rusinga Island Lodge is a gem. I wish you would have collaborated with the county government of Homa bay to give a proper story of that area. You would have told your viewers that that place is accessible by air, since there is an airstrip, road, boats and ferry. Other excursions from there are Mfangano, Takawiri, Remba and Migingo Islands. Takawiri has the best white beach ever. Mfangano gives you the a 360 degree view of the lake. Bullet shaped Tom Mboya mausoleum is a stone's throw away from the lodge. That place is also abird sanctuary with I think over 300 species, hippos too as well as the prehistoric museum a few hundred meters from the lodge. And the lodge has the speedboats for those excursions. By the way, where is the beautiful jetty that honeymooners could even do memorable dinner? I have been there countless times. A good story. Keep it up!
