i know it is from southeast asian,because im from this region, for sure that axolotls is are Multicoloured Mexican amphibians, not from this region. maybe someone release it and those peoples is lucky to found it,, im not a full time catcher beta fish,but it was a my childhood activity to catch a wild betta, guppy and other small fish in my village. the fact is,all of beta fish swarm in one pond is non in variety colour, it colour is depend on spot of envirovment most of it is influence by the colour of water. but to find it on variety colour is mostly impossible especially when its colour was like white because it is only done by breeding process. the most of beta fish especially the full growm fish is only living by itself. im not saying those peoples is just made it up,but there is fact!!!..sorry my bad english..
