Helloo aww thanks for your really nice comments and words. I am still here, still detecting and still trying to upload. In fact around the time of this video, getting this new permission and finding some amazing stuff really re-vitalised me and re-motivated me. Since then I've been loving my hobby again and loving my channel. But the age old problem of finding enough time to edit each project still remains. Ayup Shaune, thanks for tuning in mate, you are right, that is the first silver hammered I found in 2024, and still is the only silver hammered I found in 2024 haha. But that is real metal detecting. Finding hammered on pasture is much more difficult than finding them on ploughed fields. I keep trying though :)

In my time I've had a couple of similar finds, my best being 5 worn smooth WIlliam III shillings, all counter stamped. Also had one similar to yours 3 or 4 bent up worn smooth sixpences. Hi mate, thanks so much for your very kind words. The only tips I can provide are to stick at it, we all have dry spells not finding silver. 2024 is my lowest ever silver count in 10 years of metal detecting. But I know if I keep looking and keep getting new permissions, the silvers will rack up! Good luck, and thanks for watching

Hi there, with that kind of budget and for searching wet sand aswel as fields you need a multi frequency detector. I would go for the Nokta Makro Triple Score. Brilliant machine for the money and does everything you would need it to do
