I just plugged it in and started Cubase. I noticed a few things didn’t work as it should so I installed the latest Cubase SW build (which the manual actually say is a requirement but I hadn’t noticed). Once that was installed all features work perfectly. I use Cubase Pro 14 and as far as I remember Nektar say it works with both Cubase 13 & 14’s latest SW Builds. Maybe u have incorrect Cubase Version alt u have settings on ur MIDI Inputs that somehow prevent Cubase to detect it?!

Get a under desk keyboard tray

Normally that would be a good idea. I’ve tried it but it didn’t work that well for me. Main reason being that I have reading glasses and need to be within a certain distance to the screens. I think that if I had a desk with a flat front or even a little cut out it might work as I could move my chair a bit closer. My desk has a slight curved front which sort of force me away from the screens. Now a week down the track I do have the controller between the keyboard and the screen and it works fine. I might put something under the controller to lift it up slightly just to access all nobs easier. I find that a frequently jump between the tracking ball, keyboard and the cs12 and that’s totally fine. Might do a little video in a couple of weeks about how I use it. It definitely makes it both faster and more fun to work.
