This is a Valentine's Day luxury handbag unboxing from Louis Vuitton. I fell in love with this special heart shaped bag from LV already years ago, when the Fall in Love collection first was released - but I had the information back than, that bag and collection would be an Asia only collection. About 2,5 years later this heart-shaped Louis Vuitton Sac Coer bag popped up on 24S - and I couldn't help myself and ordered it. In this video we unbox this empreinte leather lambskin Louis Vuitton bag together and you can help me decide, weather to keep the bag or return it.

Hello Mary, I agree with your decision to return the heart bag in the end. I much prefer your other two pink bags anyway....and in fact I much prefer the pink of the pochette Metis. if you find that the heart bag is hard to get into ...it is likely you won't fell 100% happy when using it and therefore will not reach for it as often.

Hi Mary, Congrats on 3k 🥰! Personally I wouldn’t keep it as the strap would definitely annoy me, also the shape of the heart isn’t my favorite. Maybe you can consider the mini speedy in pink patent, i think it’s also cheaper?

Hi Mary!! Funny, how today I just ordered a preloved LV for myself, also out of FOMO, amazing deal, and thinking that I can return it anyway. So I fully felt with you when you said you hope you don't love it so you can return it. Considering the price and your reaction (not being love at first sight), I think it's best to return it. There are bags out there (also limited Editions) that hold up their value way better in my opinion. I think this Valentine's day LV Edition is nothing so sought after, compared to other special/limited editions out there. I would "save" that money for another investment. But I think it's a great opportunity nowadays to be able to order something and return it without any issue if we are not convinced. 😊

I guess it would get super annoying the long run 🙈 - I‘ve seen a Coach heart-bag that had a piece of leather on the sides, to expand when opening the zipper: would be the better option here aswell 🤔

This is so funny! I've had this on my 24s Love List for AGES and almost went for it instead of my Papillon Trunk. My concern was that it was too pale pink and too girly for me. I'm happy with the choice I made.

I don’t think it matters what LV is doing on IG like taking down photos of people’s LV bag posts. You shouldn’t buy bags for posts. It makes more sense to buy bags because you like them and it is functional. Don’t ever buy bags for views and posts.

Hmm, maybe I didn’t find the right words: I didn’t mean to just keep it for content, but the fact that LV is taking down our pictures, is just so unpleasant from them, that I do not really want to keep supporting them with my money. If they disrespect their customers in that way, there’s no reason for me to keep buying that brand (if they think we’re not good enough to post pictures, that show their products, my money definitely is too good for them). Not sure if I‘m able to explain it 😅🙈

@@LuMiLevelUpGotcha. I can see why you wouldn’t want to support them in that sense. Chanel has been doing that before LV. I think LV is following Chanel’s lead. Of course it is within your right to buy or not buy from them anymore. They know that people will continue to buy from them because of their established brand and exclusivity making us feel of worth. It is all a marketing ploy to make people lust after their products even at outrageous prices with low quality control.

Congratulations on your 3K, Mary! Love your channel! So, I don’t blame you for falling in love with such a cute bag … it is pretty adorable! If it were me, the struggle to use it would cause it to sit on a shelf. I doubt I’d use it. I think you made a good decision, as difficult as I’m sure it was! Reminding ourselves of what we already have at our disposal is invaluable. I’m trying to do this more myself because I’ve been buying a lot of bags in the past few years! Altho it is cute, you don’t seem to love it to the point of excitement. If you haven’t returned it, you should. You will grab other bags that is much more functional. Unless you plan to leave it as a decoration.

Hmmm, I think LV has not done very well. It is more a triangle with a dent than a heart 💔 I would rather prefer a more rounded heart shaped bag like from Coach for a fraction of the price 😉

I just don’t like the strap flapping around, that keeps me from buying many bags. Could they not added a flat loop to hold that flap to the bag? It’s the small design details like that can make or break my decision.

More reasons for not feeling bad for returning: the strap looked annoying, the dent at the point of the heart was a nuissance, the colour looked fairly boring (too pale) and the small opening would have kept ruining your nails and slgs and driven you crazy all the time.... I was thinking couldn´t you paint the lipstick heart you loved so much on your small pink Alma? Or onto a plain back charm?

Cute bag but I don’t like it, too impractical.😂 As for what luxury houses do with their brand, it’s their prerogative. As content creators, the content should be for people like us, not the luxury house. If creators do not like the brand, then do not buy anything from them. I don’t buy Chanel as I find their marketing strategies arrogant and obnoxious. If I really want anything Chanel, I buy resale, so the brand does earn anything from me. Even though it may get some eyeballs but the main point is that I like it. So hopefully you will continue to create content that you enjoy and those who follow you enjoy too. 🎉🎉🎉

Louis Vuitton used to be my favorite luxury brand, but in recent years I bought several items from them with quality issues - and now the „luxury purge“, that is going on on Instagram, is a huge upturn for me. Guess I‘ll stick to preloved - or not even going for that brand anymore at all. This bag is a return for me. Thank you for sharing your opinion 💕
