I have picopix 4935 for 4 years (350 ANSI lumens). I just bought picopix max because I wanted to upgrade from 720p to 1080p as well as get brighter screen. It looks, that picopix 4935 has identical brightness or even more white. Sorry, I am returning picopix max. I am really disapointed...

Brother, may I ask a very important question as I am facing now too. I been thinking WHICH one to get, between Pico max, or the 4935. Like you said the Pico max is 1080p. HD the 4935 is only 720p. In term of the image CLARITY and image QUALITY. Which is BETTER, is Pico Max, or the 4935???brother PLEASE help me!

@@snowy2875 ​ Sister, definitelly Pico max is better in terms of picture. Even if the brightness seems to be only a little bit higher or equal, then both: the colors saturation and picutre contrast is much better. CLARITY and image QUALITY is better for Pico max. I wrote, that 4935 has more "white" brightness, because the color temperature is higher (less nice to watch). I regret I had to return it, because I bought HALO+ which is a rocket science comparing to any other mobile beamer, but unfortunatelly you will not put it into the pocket, like Pico max or 4935. However Picopic 4935 is definitelly smaller and I used it for 6 years and it was a greate experience whenever I was. Both in terms of brightness are similarly good enough in the dark room with a picture up to 1,5 - 2max meters width. Nice, cosy, not too bright picture. But do test Pico max well! Because the system can hang. I already bought one on Amazon which did not work (probably they sent me a broken second hand item). Also with the auto-focus it is not always perfect. Not sure if there is a manual adjustment possible. Buy it with an option of return and test well.

I have used it to watched 2 movies today with the projector. Quite a pleasant experience. I didn't realize the greenish tint tho. Color accuracy is not perfect, but it's ok for some chilling time at home.

I'm hugely disappointed that the Netflix app isn't an app at all. It's simply accessing Netflix through a web browser. The result is that image quality is poor and it's not possible to navigate with the remote.

The overall user experience for the software is quite poor. But I guess that's what happened when you're chasing a deadline. The good thing is that it can be fixed by software updates. Let's just hope that they will push more updates soon.

It's a software bug.

@@terrence9093 No it is not. Google services (like Google Play Store) is missing from this device, since Google currently does not seem to endorse putting Android (as opposed to Android TV) on projectors. For more info, see the Indiegogo page.

So basically it is not android TV OS on projector. It is just basic form of Android. I dont think we will ever be able to take benefits of cast, google services etx on this projector then. :(. Xgimi mogo has android TV

Picture quality, brightness, noise, and software/feature tests. And much interested in the optical quality of the lens (my current projector is sharp in the center but not in the corners/sides) Could you pls project a webpage with lot of text corner to corner and then walk close with your camera and show sharpness of the projection on the wall? Thanks a lot subbed your channel The charger looks huge. What is the Watt, Volt and ampere? Is it usb on both sides? I wonder if the projector can operate from iPad charger.. DON’t BUY THIS!!!! Unfortunately I did! But it is a shitty product. The interface is difficult to navigate. The colors are mwah.... But most of all after a few month the video freezes. You have to shut it down and then you can wacht anither 10 minutes before it happens again. Almost everybody who bought this gets this issue and Phillips doesn’t help you resolve it.

This is honestly better than anything on the market right now! Nice one. Edit: too bad the horizontal keystone adjustment isn’t there. Are you able to adjust it manually? If not it’s gonna be a deal breaker for me.

The LG seems to be like exactly the same projector only 3 years older. The only thing the Philips has is autofocus i think. I went for the Xiaomi Smart mi projector because of 500 Ansi Lumen which is alot more than the others and because it has no battery because i dont need it and it is a bit larger which means better cooling and larger van (silent). I actually ordered the LG but the lens was scratched from factory, after that i ordered the same model again and guess what, lens had deep scratches, so i ordered the Xiaomi. THose chinese workers in the LG factory can not even put a lens in without scratching it, what a shame.
