I'm not sure, it's been a long time, but I think I met Ruth in my Japanese Language class when I was attending Cal State, LA back in 1971-73. Very interesting lady! Only wished I had asked more questions back then.

I love the stories of issei, nissei, especially from the generations that took pics in black and white. This story is especially interesting because it includes some bouncing back and forth between Japan and America. Thank you for posting this video.
