Maybe not being allowed to play with dolls as a child (cause I'm a male and lived with mommy dearest) is to blame (spoiled had everything but dolls). THING IS THEY TAKE UP SPACE! My collection is reduced to 8 on a shelf and one plastic tub in a closet. I donated the rest to a children's hospital, and reclaimed my second bedroom! Seriously like the TV show hoarders but limited TO one bedroom only. friend said its a Barbie massacre in that room. Hired the priest, he performed the exorcism and blessing of the house, we got to work. It's clean now. I told my mom I'm thinking about stuffing her in a plastic tub, shake things up a bit. The rule is if I buy one doll I have to get rid of two dolls. 🤷 Only thing it might heal is my bank account! 🫣 the dolls shoulda gotten holy water or blessed now that I think about it..let's not talk about it.. SHHHH secrets! 🤫

I think the Christie one is the hardest to find, especially in box, so many collectors I know just reroot a random Christie doll to have the iconic Hair. I just love your videos. It’s like stepping back in time for a moment and brings me joy. I had the OG brunette totally hair Barbie and my sister had the blonde one. I wish I had held onto them, but I guarantee they were well loved and played with. I’m sorry for the pain you’re going through, but glad that you can forget your troubles for a bit with your dolls. So what if adults like dolls? There are a lot worse things you could be addicted to. I think millennials long so much for their childhood more than any other generation because the world has changed so much in such a short time and not for the better for the most part. Also I'm sure that hair gel has probably dried out by now. Did anybody ever use that stuff in their dolls hair? I could only imagine it ruining the hair if kids put it in and didn't wash it out... Also as a side note here, I've told a couple people close to me about my vintage doll collecting and how I really been wanting the ever amazingly beautiful jewel hair mermaid barbie.... keeping my fingers crossed for christmas 😆
