I bought a brand new MIJ 62’ Reissue RedSunburst with dbl white binding and was the lightest best sounding Tele I’ve ever owned. It was $374.68 NIB at H.O.T. Music in Waco Tx. I took it to Nville with me and sold it for $1200.00 the first day I was there!

The Jagard and the Morris Martin copies were probably both made at the Terada factory who made (and still make) fantastic acoustic and semi-acoustic instruments. I think they still make the Gretsch Professional guitars. The Bill Lawrence was probably made by Morris (Moridaira) themselves - they had a deal with him which went pear shaped as a result of straight up Fender copies being made with the BL name on them.

Do you pay shipping by weight or is it a flat rate and whatever you can get in the box goes at that rate? How long does it take to get to you? Do you ever get dead gear? Seems like you wouldn't be able to test everything, but rather you're buying on faith that it was tested at some point by the seller?
@edmo-l4d6 ай бұрын
I did this when I shipped all my stuff when I moved back from Japan to Canada 25 years ago. It came by boat, it took a long time and I believe it was a fixed price. I can’t remember how much it was but it wasn’t cheap.

*NEW SUB HERE....!!!* 🤗 PLEASE CALENDAR THOSE CASS. & DAT TAPES PRIOR TO USE!! I used to be *the senior Analog/digital tape engineer/tech @ dBm Pro Audio,* in Manhattan (they are now in Brooklyn.) Also if you have a "dedicated calendaring" machine (no heads at all,) would be VERY IDEAL, as there will be a "tad" 😨 of, OK.., A SHIT-TON OF tape frags. falling off during the process of calendaring them!! And of course, ULTIMATELY, that is what that process is for, as well as "exercising" the tape, all before the recording process is done. This is method of preparing the tape prior to use is a very old method, dating back to the earliest know tape recordings!!! 😉 *ANYWAY, KEEP ON KEEPING ON BROTHER (AND SISTER) GEAR GEEKS!!!!!* 😎🤘🏼
