I used a CE3 for years, mainly to split my signal to 2 seperate amps. That and a SD1 were all I used for a long time

I'm very curious about your business model. Why are you trying to pick up inventory for your shop at retail outlets like GC and mom and pop guitar stores? I would think there wouldn't be enough meat left on the bone for you to make any real money. It's not like they don't know what they have and you can get a killer deal on stuff. What am I missing?

Boss is always my top choice for guitar pedals. My uncle dug out an old, beat up SD-1 that wouldn't turn on from an old yard sale and gave it to me once. I found a place that repairs pedals and they got it working for dirt cheap! It goes well with my shiny new DS-1 and DD-8!!! By the way, what do you think of their new Waza craft pedals?

Is that a Gibson Les Paul Studio Premium Plus on the wall behind you? Assuming it is one of those, Gibson made those, Studios Premium Plus LP models, with AAA tops and gold hardware from 2006 to 2008. Before that, in 2004 and 2005, Gibson had the LP Studio Plus line in, with AA tops and also gold hardware, I think. The guitar behind you looks like the "Natural" finish color,... that color was only available in the Premium Plus line, not the Plus.

I bought a used boss rc2 from ebay in 2011 for $100. I bet i stomped on that pedal 100k times. I gave it to a friend a few years back and he still uses it. They are still around $75 on ebay today. Definately got my moneys worth outta that pedal. Boss pedals are pretty much indestructible

The enhancer can be compared to BBE's sonic maximizer?? And yes, Blues Driver all the way, one of the very few pedals that never leaves my board.

That paint-by-numbers design layout is kind of stale. It would have been cool if they incorporated the actual instruments into some of the design choices and color schemes, patterns, etc. instead of just against stagnant white walls. 🤷♂️ maybe this is just the artist/musician in me

Boss pedals were good enough for Prince, which makes them good enough for us mere mortals.

My BD2 is going into my Vox AC15 C1, that has a Celestion Creamback in it, and it works exceptionally well. To be honest Tube Screamers leave me cold. I'm pushing the BD2 with a Custom Shop reissue '58 dc Junior, a Yamano made Fender Strat, and a custom built Esquire clone. The Junior doesn't really need anything, it's a nasty beast, but why not make it nastier? The other 2 just 'open up' a bit more.

Blues Driver /BD2 as the most under-rated? Are you kidding me? There are a lot of players that use AND love the Blues Driver, it is a classic! Andy Timmons and a ton of other players have the Keeley Modded Blues Driver on their boards!

I'm also a big fan of the noise suppressor, but hands down my FAV Boss pedal is also the blues driver. I bought one in the early 2000's and that pedal has literally NEVER left my board. I play fender amps almost exclusively and it just always is the one I go back to. Cheers man!

Tuner tuner tuner i will always look at gig of the guitarist got a tuner or not and if he dont he doesnt care much tbh
@PNWJEEPER013 күн бұрын
Lol; I don't use any pedals at all. I must be the most careless guitarist ever... Or maybe I use a different type of tuner and just actually know what all those knobs and switches on the guitar and amp are for and how to use them.

Totally agree on a tuner pedal...everyone should have one. Not every guitarist needs a chorus or a Blues Driver, but every guitarist needs to be in tune.

Surprised when you spoke about the tu2 and the ns3 that you didn’t mention the daisy chain power function
@aflashfloodofgear3 күн бұрын
It can get a little noisy when you do that, so going iso power is usually best in my opinion!
@BattleshipHughes11 сағат бұрын
@@aflashfloodofgear I concur but you’ve got to admit that adding that function to the tuner( that everyone should have) was a solid move on the part of Boss

Reminds me of a double cut melody maker I found at a local music store. Someone had put dual humbuckers and a tune o matic with a stop bar instead of the wrap under all in one. I much preferred that set up so it didn't bother me that it had been changed. I bought another guitar that day and just didn't have money for both. I begged my dad to loan me the money but he started in on "That's not a work of art. It is a picture frame that used to contain a work of art and that has been removed. It is worthless now. Besides you will find another one before too long." Did I mention this Gibson was $350? (early to mid 1990 money) That was the first and only sub $500 Gibson I ever found. Oh well. I didn't really care it was worth less because it was not original. I cared that it was a Gibson with 2 humbuckers so I could get Les Paul sounds out of it. I would have never sold it but if I wanted to I am sure I could have gotten my money back.

You’re right in saying the nitro is sprayed over a thick polyurethane coat. So it’s not really nitro. It’s essentially a standard polyurethane guitar with a participation trophy nitro top coat.
