UNBoxing 2 NEW "Old Project" TRUCKS | RC ADVENTURES

Viewers have been curious what my new & upcoming projects are going to be.. and in this film, I am able to share some of that information with you. These two vehicles come to me from fellow RC Builder, Greg Marsh. His skills are always on display when building new trucks for his customers. Don't let these amazing deal fool you... as the completed trucks Greg builds can run you easily over 5 figures. Start saving your pennies! Wait.. Just like CAT does not build the C15 ACERT engines anymore..they don't make the penny either. May as well save your nickels then.. you will save much quicker.
Interesting Fact about the C15 ACERT:
"Lawsuits mount against Cat’s ACERT engines, court consolidates cases:
Caterpillar over its 2007-2010 year model ACERT C13 and C15 engines, as carriers claim the engines had defects that Cat knew about but that were concealed from buyers.
Since Overdrive last reported on the lawsuits in early May, several more suits have been filed, and a panel on multidistrict litigation has consolidated the cases and transferred them to a federal civil court in New Jersey, according to court documents.
Caterpillar also has submitted a legal answer to the suits brought against it, in which it denies all the allegations brought against it in the suits.
The latest lawsuits were filed last week, one brought by an owner-operator from Michigan, Ricky Williams, and the other two by passengers carriers, according to court documents.
All of the lawsuits center on Caterpillar’s emissions controls system, which plaintiffs claim were defective. The systems consisted of a diesel particulate filter, aftertreatment regeneration device and an electronic control module.
The system had repeated failures, the plaintiffs allege, driving up their costs and driving down their resale value.
Plaintiffs also claim Caterpillar knew about the defects, yet sold the engines anyway and concealed the defects from buyers.
The class-action lawsuits were filed on behalf of anyone who owned or leased a truck with a 2007-2010 C13 or C15 engine within the warranty period.
Caterpillar no longer builds engines for Class 8 trucks and no longer makes the ACERT engine line."

NICE custom Sleeper Cab on the stretched White Rig, Aaron!! 👍👍 AND THE CAT ENGINE!!!! 😱😱😎 I would Kill for one of those. I've wanted one since Tamiya introduced the first Big Hauler... Someday. Yeah, the Tanker looks great. The Tank can fit some nice Speakers inside!! (Build hint!) My favorite is still that cool old Conventional. Going to be fun for sure. Both of them. Not much has changed with my Wife.... Starting Chemo in about a week. She has made it through Surgery and Recovery, but we're still fighting. We haven't hit the worst part yet. For the sake of scale realism, the c15 CAT was in backwards. The compound turbo's should be passenger side. Absolutely love the look of them!!!

I like the classic custom more as it looks like a B series Mack truck. The tanker is also cool as it looks like an Autocar or Kenworth C500 series truck. Lucky U to have such awesome RC vehicles.

Love the show lots of info. On the semis you bought you should get a trailer for the one semi and make it where the trailer rearends have power from a motor and make it help push through the mud and up hills. Plus put rear steer on it to help drive through thought spot and it could help in the mud or up or down hill. Just a thought. Keep up the good work on the show and the rcs. Also this is my wife name mines Danny I use her KZbin.

I'll probably start an argument, but having driven many a Cat powered truck, I would throw the Cat engine away and put nearly anything in their place. The only engine I can not comment on is Detroit, but I would take a Mack or a Cummins over the Cat every day. I have a C15 in my current truck and the 12 Liter PACCAR in the other truck leaves me in the dust every hill we have to pull. As for the two RCs, the build quality is off the freaking chart. Both of those look like they have already taken a lot of time to get to this build point. Though the tanker needs at least another axle, even with the scale looking 20,000 pound front end on it. Not another drive axle, but a lift axle. We get a lot of Canadian trucks down here and y'all run lots of axles on your trucks.

Medic, Beautiful projects and platform to work with. Off Highway mining and/or logging trucks such as Hayes, Mack etc... typically older ones ran NDT tires. Same as found on the the Deuce & Half's or Michelin XML's. With tire chains hanging from the rear. Nothing fancy about them no chrome dents, patina, miss-matched tires lol. Workhorses.

Tough choice but I gotta go tanker being a retired fuel hauler. Looking forward to some videos of those trucks in action. You’ll have to build a road all around your ranch that you can see from your racing platform. I’m talking streetlights, RR crossings, etc.
