Had a planned power outage yesterday. Used handwarmers for Sahyu(leopard gecko) and eventually myself. I also have a temp gun and even after putting it in a winter glove it was over 100 on the surface of the glove. Had to double the glove to get it down to lower 90s for Sahyu. Yes he did right before he opened the last box the katana was behind him next to the tank but after the camera cut the katana is right next to him. So he either used it first and then strated using the scissors, or he picked it up and decided not to use it for some reason

Seeing people compare spider ball pythons to (genetic) neurological conditions will never fail to make me angry. People should never be compared to animals. Pet snakes are only bred for our entertainment - neurodivergent people are human beings who make the conscious decision that a new human life is worth any challenges that come with it. It's so dehumanizing to compare ANY group of people to animals, even if we are animals biologically. It's super inappropriate and ableist, and it's funny how they say "I wouldn't say my neurologically different friend should be forcibly sterilized" without considering for a moment that maybe the person on the other side of the screen could have a neurological condition too. EDIT: I have autism and most people say I'm "high-functioning" (even though I hate that term) so I'm not visibly mentally disabled, so people treat me like I couldn't possibly understand when I very much do. "Spider Ball Pythons are just different, like people with neurological conditions, so it's okay to breed them" should be treated the same way PETA's horrendous take of "factory farming is the same as the holocaust" take (doubly so since disabled people WERE victims of the holocaust)

Also I am on about condition that affect the main nervous system and not autistic people. I have a rare genetic neuropathy and I understand how frustrating it is to be unable to control your body and unable to feed yourself. How painful it is when your muscles are jumping uncontrollably and ripping constantly and how scary it is when you can't even control your balance to be able to move. It is up to each human to choose whether they have kids or not but if we can stop these poor animals from suffering with some of the same neurological issues that I suffer everyday then I am all for it.
