I scanned through a lot of the comments. Alex must be working 40+ hours a week to delete negative comments about this girl and her husband. It's obvious you are deleing a ton of comments because what is left is still way too nice for 'people' like them. I can't imagine how anybody could find any redeeming values in that couple.

I agree with you on the home inspection. They miss so much and have a disclaimer for why it's okay that they're wrong blah blah blah. Waste. Houses always suck in the beginning and usually work out in the long run. This house is perfect for a house hack. Look into Bigger Pockets "Set For Life".

12:44 Some of these passengers just dont care and have no regard for people’s personal property. They are just absolutely entitled and order Ubers/Lyfts solely for the purpose to vomit in the car. I have seen videos of Uber/Lyft passengers bragging and laughing about how they puked in the car. I’ve seen horror videos from Uber/Lyft drivers where the passengers puke in the car and dont even tell the driver. You will be horrified to learn just how many nasty and disrespectful people there are in the world.

Why would anyone do this job in the first place with their own personal car is beyond me. I would use a rental or find some kind of program that provides a car. The amount of dirty, nasty disrespectful people there are out there is insane and I wouldnt want them in my car. Plus you’re putting all those miles on your car.

I've done Lyft and Loved it for the same reasons you did and the adventures. Our attitudes and the way we see things are the same. And I LOOOVE going the extra mile for people. It's just so fun!!!! I miss it so much. One time these college girls in Tucson Az saw these lights and asked me what they are. Asked if it was a lights show. 😆 It was a mountain with cell towers in it. 😆 On time these college students asked if I dressed up for Halloween. I said yes. They asked what was I. I said a bunny. (I got bunny pajamas from Walmart) She asked if I was a Christian bunny. 😆 Her friends said "That was rude what did you say that?" She said because she saw the cross hanging from my rear view mirror. 😆 I said Yep. I am a Christian bunny. 😆 I went through some hard times and can't get a car that'll pass the Lyft inspection. But it's all good and maybe for the best. Maybe lts God's way of protecting me. Idk. But I really enjoyed this video and miss seeing your face!!! You're awesome for real!!!!

If it makes you feel any better, I've used instacart prob hundreds of times and 99% of shoppers are absolutely GARBAGE at finding items. They'll typically say half your list is unavailable, then you/someone else goes to check later that day and everything's there. 😑 People either suck miserably at it or just don't try. Either way, I don't understand cause why do it at all then??

i wonder if there's a way to stack reputation, such that the person who's renting passes a filter selecting higher orderliness/cleanliness personalities (women tend to be more in that) and gives discounts to those people only. maybe linking their LinkedIn or instagram (200+followers) to the turo renting profile would somehow filter out more short term troublemakers. essentially renting out to trustworthy acquaintances at scale

even if you think you're not getting exploited, you are. even if you don't have a problem with that, you attract people who take advantage of you. And if you don't learn to stay away from people like that, you will continually meet a lot of unstable people. Cleary you have a helper syndrome, just be carefull who you help.

Similarly, my weight stays around 150 at 5'10 with ease. When I was 25-27 I weight-lifted consistently 4x per week, (heavy upper, heavy lower, rest day, controlled upper, controlled lower body), and ate a lot at the university's ayce dining hall, even bringing food (meat and fruit) home for later in tupperware. My weight steadily climbed to 175-180lb, maybe at 16% body fat. My physique made basketball feel too easy at times with the recreational players. On days when I skipped weightlifting (wasn't feeling it) I played basketball for an hour, but I stuck with the 4x per week regiment and even did doubles on somedays to keep up. At the start of covid I stopped weightlifting in that way and started running and doing calisthenics. My weight is now down to 145-150. I got in a a 500 mile year, a 1000 mile year, and this year a 2000 mile year, with my BMI sitting around 20. (The 2,000 mile year was more flexible and it included walk-runs, hikes, and time I set-aside to go out and just get my heart rate up to zone2 for at least 20min, dedicating 50-100min per day on average.) 7% body fat seems quite low; you might feel lethargic throughout the day at that point. My initial motivation for weightlifting was to build mitochondria in my muscles. From my understanding, those gains are there for life, so if I were to build them up again it'll be much more easy to do in the future. My goal was to bench 225 / squat 315 / deadlift 405 for reps but I stopped around 20% less than that and am content with that for now.

M'bro, I was introverted in most of school, but headbanger was my people I found. Later in life it went away, I became the ice-breaker in the room, and would never be an Uber driver with strangers inside my vehicle orbit. This is a good orientation-therapy, kewl...

This is so interesting. I get along with strangers typically but I am protective over my stuff so I could not drive my every day vehicle with strangers in it I would need a work vehicle haha so I can mentally prepare myself for them wrecking that car. I am surprised to hear you say $10-20 for a trip though because my trips usually cost closer to $40. Maybe it’s more expensive where I live? The trips are generally around 15 minutes and just over 5 miles.

My dude, I give you a lot of credit for dealing with people like this for as long as you did. God bless you and your patience/tolerance. Side note, I'm in Charlotte, NC myself. I've seen some crazy stuff with passengers here, some drivers too! I hope you're safe and secure. It was nice to see you get out of your car for that guy who fell out, but leaving your door open like that made my jaw drop!

That was funny the lady saying, "I'm in a Testa, Tesla with an eleven-year-old driver." You could do a funniest Uber moments compilation video. Even her voice was funny. I think they are nice to you in the car because you are helping them driving them around, so they don't want to be jerks to you. They could also get low rated as passengers. Probably the last straw was being responsible for a possibly dead man in your car during your ride. The hospital wasn't even quick to help you, and what if he died and someone held you liable? I think the whole concept is very shady. Taxi drivers are licensed and fingerprinted, background checked by the police, and are under dispatcher surveillance. When you drive Uber, it is strangers alone with strangers.
