Mystery Models usually ride on a certain theme. The theme for this series was Demolition Derby style. That is why you get mixed up wheels and dirt effix and such on the cars. When you get all the cars like I did you will notice this, and they fit the theme perfectly. . My favorite from this series is one you didn't get. The Lethal Diesel riding on pink. I think mix wheels give the cars a different ,and unique look. They work best on Hot Wheels original castings. These four Muscle machines are very cool. The whole set is chalk full of dragsters type cars. You also got Project Speeder, Cruise Bruiser and Maximum Leeway. My favorite aspect about the Mystery Models series is that we get exclusive designs on all our favorite castings. thanx for the showcase.

I got a #1 mustang package with a bone shaker car in it … but the series number is different … it says T11/ 07 …. Is that maybe a treasure hunt? I’m so confused. I don’t see anything different between the two bone shakers?

I get the idea that they are trying to look like budget demo car. I get it, but they saw thiscthe way to makevit look. As for the paint, it looks like a backyard paint job. Seeing real demo cars, this paint job fits. In the box i looked at, they were 2 mustangs. It is not the greatest set but it is ok.

@@stevesurfaro yes very few ever mad it’s a masterpiece I’ll never part with. It’s still boxed. They have some very nice limited editions but that is a true one off . I’m not sure how many where made in total. Hope this helps.
