Great box of knives Paddy. Rosecraft definitely do a good job with fit and finish for the price. I like that they use D2 steel too. Great D2 on the 3 I have.

The fit and finish on Rosecraft traditional knives puts Case, Buck, and Rough Ryder knives to shame. Rosecraft blades are also very sharp, unlike Case knives. FYI, I own 4 Rosecraft traditional knives, 60 Rough Ryders, 10 Buck knives, and 9 Case knives. The only thing that exceeds Rosecraft are the Jack Wolf knives (which I own one), which are outrageously expensive, and the QSP custom knives commissioned by C Risner, at Traditional Knives, who hired QSP to make several slipjoints under his own label. I love my Ohio River Jack and its almost equal to a Jack Wolf knives in fit and finish and blade sharpness.

I got the MOHOK and Savage Creek Gunstock for my birthday and already owned a Loosahatchie Jack. The fit and finish and the initial edge on all are top notch. Hard to beat at the price point. The MOHOK is a modern liner lock that is on clearance for $25.00!

Fantastic Stephen!!! Now that’s what I call a unboxing video!!!! Really loving what Andy and the RoseCraft team are putting out… some fantastic designs with the quality and fit and finish we’ve been waiting for! Ordered the Gunstock today… 😀 To be honest, finances permitting, I’d like to pick all of their traditional pattern’s up… some of their moderns too! Just seen a Texas blade show video with Andy and some of the new prototypes…. Wow! Some fantastic patterns to come!!! Really like how RoseCraft are drawing on some old patterns and giving them their own take!! I have one knife from Rosecraft, the Mohok. It's a tank. Great fit and finish on mine. Thick blade stock makes it more of a bruiser than a slicer but it can do and the blade finish is very attractive. Now I have two of their traditionals on the way, the Cane Creek and the Appalachian. I'm so excited for them. Thanks for the look at these Paddy.

@paddyspotatopeelers2154 You, sir, we're 100% correct. This Appalachian Jack is gorgeous! The fit and finish, the pull weight, walk and talk, the grind lines, blade stock thickness, the finish of the edge, the blade centering, all as near perfect as can be. It's also one of the sharpest out-of-the-box knives I've ever received. I sincerely consider this heirloom quality.

You had me til “made in China”. If you look at their website, they are very quick to push an American company with American designers. Shame they are not so quick to use an American workforce. If the only Americans earning a living out of this “American company are tge probably already not short of a penny designers, I won’t be buying them. Their knives even have American sounding names.😂
