Thank you so much, Mike! Still feels crazy Folio Society contacted me to send me these. I know what you mean, though. The shipping fee and the taxes to my place are brutal. I have to pay (in total) an extra payment of $100 on top of the books if I buy something from Folio.

Congratulations Petrik. Truly deserved for someone so earnest and enthusiastic. Yesterday I received a used copy of Folio’s 2006 Treasure Island edition and it’s so beautiful. If you have the chance try to get a Neverending Story: an astounding edition. Also, now out of print but very beautiful: The Once and Future King

I placed an order with folio around Christmas and Greta packaged my order and she did a great job packing my order!!!! Shout out for their packaging department!!! It's so important to us the books come in good condition especially when we spend so much on a special edition!!!! They deserve alot of credit for ensuring that happens!!!!

Folio Society originally did a limited edition of the Book of the New Sun in 4 volumes, two years before the current version. The limited edition version has much higher quality. The volumes are 3/4 bound in buckram, front piece in cloth and the slipcase is bound in cloth and internally it has a mirror paper. ASOIF doesn't have any limited editions from Folio Society.

Yeah, but that limited edition version of Book of the New Sun is impossible for me to analyze now! :D I can't know how different they are from one another. It is true that ASOIAF does not have any Folio Society limited editions, but limited doesn't mean the overall quality is better.

@@PetrikLeo I own a copy of the BOTNS limited edition from Folio Society. It is excellent :). Moreover the paper quality is different from the standard edition of BOTNS from Folio. It is textured.

Those are among the best editions of any book (perhaps sans Dune) that I have seen. Serious FOMO, but they're too expensive for me. Enjoy!
