My furby was so cute it was blue and purple but I swear it was haunted or had a mind of it's own cuz it would talk randomly to itself whether it was during the night or me catching it talking to itself when I was in the hallway walking to my room. The reason I got rid of it was because I was scared of it and I remember the battery wouldn't die. I wish I never got rid of it tho but it scared me so much as a kid

My first would never shut up. They’re so scary. I’d try throwing it away and it would just show back up in my room. Terrified me. I’m sure my dad was taking it out of the trash, but I didn’t know that then!

My son’s too! Every time we’d try to get rid of it, it would show back up. We threw it into the snow which was about 5 feet deep. It snowed on top of it all winter and yet in the Spring the damn thing was still chittering it’s evil laughter (think The Crypt Keeper on meth) and rolling it’s bulbous eyes around in it’s head. When we threw it in the dumpster it sounded pissed! I was so glad when they finally came and picked up the garbage. A few years later my brother brought one over and it was identical to the one we had… that was a big no thank you!

That is the first generation snowball furby. It came out in 1997(27 years ago) The sensor on its head can detect light and shadows, it has 3 sensors. One on its head that can detect when you flip it upside down, one on its stomach to tickle it, and on the back to pet it. You can play different games with it and they all have different personalities. 6:20 this is a glich that can go away on its own or you can take the batterys out and put them back in, or restart it. This happens bc of how old their circuits are. Its completely normal for this to happen. Another thing that would happen with my first one (2nd gen tiger furby) is if it would get hit or dropped it would do a repeating motion. This can also be fixed by taking the batteries out and putting back in or restarting. If you have any questions be free to ask. Hoped this helped ^^

I had a first generation that did that same thing! It's a messed up one 😂 I'm old so yes I had an original it was black and white and I had to return it because it did this CRAZY beeping and and crazy talking. All the words it said were totally normal the beedaa! Beedaa! Dance boogie! Is it dancing lol.. I still remember all of this. It just speaks more English to you instead of "furbish" the longer you have it and interact with it. I want another furby now to give to my baby girl.

My oldest son had a possessed Furby in 1999 when he was 2 years old. That toy was the possibly most diabolical toy ever made! That damn thing would speak in tongues! He would never “learn words” as they were supposed to. They were supposed to get smarter and smarter the more you interacted with them. Instead children all across the world were given nightmares from the damn things. So ours would speak in tongues, roll it’s eyes up into it’s head or around and around in circles and would then break out in satanic, evil sounding, chittering laughter (think of the Crypt Keeper on Tales from the Crypt but on meth). I never have minded dolls and such but Furby’s are my biggest fear toy-wise! My son and I ended up throwing it into about 5 feet of powder snow (we live in Colorado), it sank into oblivion and was snowed upon all winter. I swear to you, come spring that damn thing was still going off, only constantly instead of just randomly. We didn’t even want to touch it but we threw it into the dumpster. I swear to you it sounded pissed off and chittered until the garbage man finally came and picked it up days later. You hand me a Furby and I guarantee you it is being bashed against the wall and then taken a hammer to. I was always afraid that the damn thing was going to show back up in our apartment.
