Today I'm unboxing a guitar I have been wanting for many years. The Gretsch Brian Setzer Signature 6120tFM BSNV. For more info on these incredible guitars check out www.gretschguitars.com #gretschguitars

That's the only Gretsch that will stay in tune all night with light strings.

Congrats! Could you break down how the HR model and 5420 and this one compare and if you could own just one of the 2 which would it be??

Hi Lou, the Hot Rod is a great guitar the biggest difference between that one and this one is the way the electronics are laid out. The Hot Rod is stripped back and only has a 3 way toggle switch for the pickups and one volume knob where as the 6420 BSNV has 2 individual volume knobs (one for each pickup), a master volume knob, a 3 way toggle switch for the pickups, and a 3 way tone switch. The 5420 is a part of the Electromatic series and they are really good. Gretsch upgraded the pickups in that guitar this year to get a closer clone of the Filter'Tron. The difference between the Electromatic and the professional series would be like Fender Player guitars verses IMO Custom Shop level guitars. If I could own just one it would be my Brian Setzer 6120 that's in this video. Thanks for the question and for watching the video.

Did it come with regular nickel volume knobs in case? I don’t care for the dice. I read that Gretsch has included standard knobs with these in the past.
