Nice! A solar panel on the roof for when it's sitting in that Louisiana sunshine would be good too.

You should get with Kieth, and install a couple of Solar Panels and an inverter. That way you don't have to use the generator. Only in emergencies. I really enjoy your channel.

Unlike other batteries you can run this down to zero. Other batteries only down to 50%. Only downside I've had is once down 50% the inverter will shut itself off. I have 4 and can run A/C and fridge all night. You gonna like it

@GJCAMPING my fridge when it kicks on, it draws a ton of amperage to start then drops to less than a amp to run.

Ya need a solar panel on the roof. An a MPPT charge controller to hook the panel to than that to the battery. So than ya charging through the solar panel to your battery. An if you ever need a faster boost of charge you can use that one right from the generator or shore power. A pick ya up some fuses correct wire sizes in whatever length. And get ya a power inverter DC to AC And a couple of usb outlets/plugs the female ends. And a couple of the old 12v female plug ends. Than hook it all up. Ya will always be charging ya battery. Yould have some 110v outlets and some 12v outlets a some phone/device charging outlets. An or pick you up a second battery just like that one. An you’ll be running your AC off of battery power without any noise of the generator. But if you ran the AC all night. Bytime the next night rolled around if it been off. A you have enough of a panel up to. You should gain a chunk of what was used back into the batteries. May need to run the generator a short time because yould be getting power from the generator a the panel if in the day time. Someone else probably can give ya a better wording of it than I can. But if you look up on KZbin DIY Solar Generator. You can see what’s needed. An you can build it out however you choose to. It’s not a whole bunch to it though shouldn’t be to bad.

The most pricy part of it is the inverter a the batteries. The rest of everything is fairly cheap. Before I really looked into any of it myself. I bought a Pre manufactured basically/store bought. Solar generator. So everything is built into one. Which is great an all. But when say the charge controller goes out on it. Or the inverter fails. Theirs really no way to fix it unfortunately an it’ll be a good $1,000 gone. I may be able to scrap the batteries from it. But they’re not really made for customer repairs. I’m not even sure if the company would even repair out of warranty. So to piece it together from scratch is the way to go. Say your charge controller fails. I’m not sure of the prices. Say $200. You can swap just your problem part out an be back up a running as fast as your able to order a replacement. So building it out is the best way to go. Unless you are looking to move it around ofcourse. The battery they sent you is 100Ah which is 1,200watt hour. My store bought one is 2,000 Watt hour. I have basically the same lil AC unit I run a little 5,000btu and I usually will get 3 an a half hours AC run off of that 2,000watt hour battery in in. Taking into account some power loss from converting to AC. An usually shutting it down with 10% ish left of charge. Them lil units least this one probably that one also is pulling 430-460ish when the compressor is running an 30ish on the fan only. So say 2 hours 900watts and some power loss for conversion you’ll probably get a touch over 2 hours run on that one battery. An have a small charge left in in. 3 batteries on full on running yould probably squeeze out 7 hours with some conversion loss with just a little bit left in the storage. But if your insulated in there ceiling a walls. The bottom is already cool from the water single or double hulled it’s still cooler than the outside air. But through the night. Since it’s not a huge area. If it cooled enough to cycle the AC a not run the compressor constantly. Yould get more time out of it than that. But ild say around 7 hour ish full on running. An the few other things you mentioned as far as lighting. If it’s led you won’t pull no juice from any of that stuff. Ya probably could get 3 400watt panels on the roof. Definitely can build a killer lil system over time an run completely silent from the generator all together. I would say. A bigger battery bank is more important than the number of panels or the power coming in from the panels. It’s cool to have it as much as ya can do with it. But you can have a ton of panels. But if it’s a cloudy day. The panels can only do so much. So over time adding a couple more batteries will go a longer way for ya.
