Bought one of these kits myself . I've done one cider and onto the second one now . Kit is good . Just had to file the Ridge on the airlock down as it was letting gas out at the grommet instead of bubbling through the airlock

Yeah I have had to modify my fermenters as well. sometimes they aren't finished well.

looks like a good kit and great to see your daughter for taking an interest! about to make a cooper draught and using 1kg LDME.. not sure whether to add some dextrose.. any idea? normally i use enhancers

Leave it at what you are doing it, it will come out great.
